  1. congrats to sa on the big win as the wolves go to the playoffs. i know sa is not kville or newton but with a young team this will help next year. sa finishes the reg season 6-3 and 3-2 in 22 2a with 3 losses to in my opinion 3 of the top 10 teams in the state arp, kville and newton. go sa
  2. newton will be the favorite but san augustine is loaded this year with a new coach i think they will finish in the top 2 and watch out for shelbyville they had a few kids move in from center and they will be a darkhorse.
  3. word in SAN AUGUSTINE is that coach lynn graves is stepping down after this year.SA has a young and upcoming team and a good atheltic program across the board not just football and with a 90% chance of bein class 1a in the next realignment some coach could have a good program waiting.
  4. Being from San Augustine I saw both teams. I think newton will be hard to beat at home.I think Kville has the edge on depth and size but newton has a lot of speed. I predict a close game but kville wins 35 27. btw I saw arp this year as well and they have 3 div 1 players on that team and they are the real deal by far the best offense balance we played all year they have a rb about 6ft 2in 225 that has committed to texas a&m and they will be tough in the playoffs.
  5. omg thats sad for jefferson and even worse for div 1 teams because if daingerfield makes it in the div 1 bracket they are without a doubt the most talented team i saw this year. arp and kirbyville and corrigan are right there as well but if daingerfield goes div 1 man reg 3 is loaded.
