I say, bring back Coach Owens to run the offense.  we need him now, more than ever.

The announcer at WOS games.  When a yellow flag is thrown he always says "THERE"  "IS"  "FABRIC"  "ON"  "THE"  "FIELD".  At WOS games this happens almost every play. This joke is old. Try something new.

Nederland and WOS have played each-other in the the first game of the year, for a while.  I think WOS  has a winning streak going at this time.  I should keep this to myself but I think the difference has been "CONDITIONING".

J. said that if you did that then we will not have anyone to pass.  WO-S will battle Silsbee for the district championship. BC  will fight Orangefield for third place.  Thats the way I see it for now.

[/quote]           You are correct.  Ed and the boys did graduate in May 1956.  That would make their senior football year, 1955. Jerry Peveto was A Junior that year and later becane a standout in college football and a World Champion Bull Wrestler.  Bill Godwin started for A&M 1957 when they were the #1 team in the nation. Now this is all off the top of my head from 56 years ago. I could be completely wrong but thats is the way I remember it. Not bad for a 6 man football team.

For me, it`s  got to be Orangefield,  1956, 6 man football team.  Bill Godwin, Ed Peveto Jerry Peveto and others.

[/quote]                when i post something about WOS, it gets deleted by a person from silsbee.  so i decided to support silsbee. a person from silsbee posted a video of a very good LB from silsbee, who tore  WOS up last year.  i asked for someone to tell me what the final score of that game was  because that video made  the players on the WOS team look terrible.  my post got deleted by someone from silsbee. 

This is easy. Everyone knows that Silsbee has the best coaches.  I am predicting that Silsbee will go undefeated this year.
