My Rockets beat the sucky spurs today....what a game. Rockets are a better team without (always hurt) mcgrady. rockets take over first place.

for now...not that the division means anything anyways......new orelans won it last year and the spurs ousted them in the playoffs.

If dana didn't act like that then the UFC would have never made.......Dana is a smart man...I know he is a little punk...but he does what he has to do to get things done.....

negative. mj retired for the first time after his dad died in 93 (after the first 3-pete, played a year of pro ball with the white sox AA farm team, came back halfway through the 94-95 season (bulls lost to the magic...who ended up losing to the rockets in the finals), and then retired for the 2nd time in 98 after that 3-pete. then he came back in like 2001....i think....with the wizzards.

dana is an idiot. he taunts anyone who isnt fighting under the UFC logo (ie fedor, kimbo, etc.). yes hes a good buisiness man but hes an idiot. tito fights at 205, therefore he does NOT "run around" at 225....if your goin 20 lbs over your fight weight limit, your way outta shape and your probably gonna get beat....bad. and another thing.....tito doesnt need the money. the guy has GOBS of money from previous fights and to top it off....hes with jenna jameson...guarantee shes got a good bit of cash too.

I'm not convinced that he will hit over the Mendoza line.  Look at what he did with the Yankees last year.

the guy hit .276 for the year....yeah his .219 with the yanks was a bit shaky....but how can you even put the "mendoza line" into consideration here when the guy is a career .301 hitter? ill take .250 from a catcher (who is currently batting .600 in the classic). anything is better than 2 guys batting below the mendoza line in spring training.....towles and quintero are both around .190

fedor wont sign with ufc because dana white is an idiot and wont let "the baddest man on the planet" do what he wants....which is sambo tournaments. and you wont see a fedor and tito fight 1.) tito is a light heavy weight and fedor is a heavy weight and 2.) even if tito were in his prime he wouldnt even come close to contending with fedor. maybe in a year or 2 you will see a fedor v. lesnar fight....but as of now its not even in the picture.

and arlovski still has it.....the guy was controlling fedor until he attempted a flying knee....if there ever is a rematch then i expect it to go past 1 round.

i read about a month ago that a 3rd card would happen in either may or june....the way it looks, it will probably be june. they said they are definately NOT going under to UFC.......personally i think the heavyweight division here is 2nd to none.

in case you didnt know....the rockets arent a "good team"...they have the potential to be a "good team" but they settle for an "average" team. ill give them slightly above average. if they played through mcgrady they wouldnt even make the playoffs. unless your name is kobe or lebron you cant expect a team to play through you and make the playoffs.....the lakers and cavs dont even play through them. the rockets have all the right tools, but they cant seem to use them the way they should be used. and yes 7'6" is a blessing. look at the money he makes from it. id gladly be a 9 foot tall mamoth man with mobility problems making gobs of money a year...not to mention the most famous man from china. look at the positives. maybe that will get you somewhere in life.

look at the date of my post mr bigned...over a month ago. i do believe that the whole t-mac being out of the picture thing has brought light into the rockets situation. alot can change in a month....as has happened here. the rockets were 6th, if im not mistaken, at the time of my post. now they are 3rd. big improvement in the tight west but i still believe yao is over rated. for his size he isnt being used to his fullest potential. if i was his coach i wouldnt make him shoot....run my offense away from him and let him rack up 15 boards a game. and im still standing firm on his blocking ability.

ouch....but comparing one player to a team (the rockets as a whole back then were rediculous) isnt entirely fair. the admiral did have an outstanding year stat wise, thus landing him the league mvp award. and i believe it was 94...mj was still in the league in 93.

classic starts this weekend....whos going?

the way i look at it is they usually slump around may and then play around .500 june and july. with the weak part of the schedule comin in may june and july, maybe that will cut the slumpin and when they usually get hot late they will already be "semi" close. when they are hot, theres not many teams that can beat the stros. ie: the 2 weeks pre-ike last year. then selig screwed us by playing at a neutral site that just so happened to be a drive of about an hour or 2 from the "visiting team" coulda played in like florida....or my idea of The Dell Diamond in Round Rock....would of EASILY gotten a sell out but it wouldnt be close to the size of a major league crowd. ill quit griping now lol

what sticks out most to me is his attitude both on and off the field. such a class act. i hope i get the chance to make the trip to Cooperstown in 2012 (hopefully)
