1. or FB Hightower. Crazy how many athletes are in that one 5 mile radius there. I bet they start building more neighborhoods down Lakes of Savannah way too, so Manvel will only get better,
2. Most of the athletic kids that go to Manvel live closer to Dawson I would imagine.
3. I got an update about 45 minutes in that neither team had scored. Can you give us some more details?
4. Clear Falls is a first year varsity team if I am not mistaken.  They look ok.  I think they got their kids from Clear Lake, so take that as you will.  If a full Clear Lake team was not very good, I can't imagine half of them going to Falls now are going to be very good.  They have some pretty decent athletes and some nice size up front on both sides of the ball.  #70 is a huge right tackle.  They have two big, squatty guys at DT.  They would run the ball like three times for 12 yards each, then Lee would somehow stop them.  Lee didn't get much going, but then had a couple of big plays and scored on offense. Lee first team won 2-0 if you count the sure pick six that Lee had that was whistled dead as the db took it in from about 25 yards out.  1-0 if you don't count that. Falls won about 6-2 if you count second team action which I don't  ;D Once Zellars gets back and Leonce gets out at receiver, I think Lee will make some pretty good stuff happen on offense.  They don't have any lineman really either way.  They don't have a lot at lb. They have a couple of receivers and a couple of db's to go with Zellars and the big running back.  They can probably hang with most teams in the district, but they should get pummeled by Dawson.
5. Well Lee is hanging with them so they are probably not very good. Falls fumbled after moving a little then didn't do much. Lee didn't do much either. One big run and a pass. Zellars not playing so hard to tell what Lee has on offense.
6. Lee with a long run by leonce and then a td pass This RB for Lee loves contact.
7. Wow Lee actually stopped them the first set of plays. Lee on offense now.
8. Looking at Lee warm up. Not looking good already.
9. Fort Bend has their own district of eight or ten teams I believe, so it would be impossible. I believe Katy and Cinco Ranch and maybe some other Katy schools are also Fort Bend County.
10. Saw that.  Tough break for him.  He needs to be out there showing what he has so he can get the scholarship offers he deserves. I am going to miss the freshman scrimmage.  >:(  Don't figure that they have too much to speak of though.
11. Harris County would need 100 teams in the playoffs lol. I am sure there are some one school counties maybe out there. What specifically are you trying to get at with this question?  Which county do you have your eye on?
12. Anybody got a time and place for me?
13.

Maybe the wet weather kept people away?
That's pretty bad.  I took off of work to watch our scrimmage, then drove all of the way to Friendswood to watch 2 teams that we don't even play.  It was a 3 hour trip on the way there thanks to traffic, and about an hour and a half trip on the way back.  Somebody had to have cared enough to go to this?
I can one up you.  I do all that...and the team I pull for has been an absolute joke.  At least with Brenham you know you are in for a good showing after that three hour drive.
14. Anything more specific? How did GCM look? Gibson do anything?
15. I was about to drive from Missouri City to watch myself.  Guess I should have.
16. Seriously?  no GCM or LCM fans went and watched this morning?
17. He immediately becomes the best player in the district.  There was never a doubt in my mind that he would play once I heard that he was at GCM.  Players like that in Baytown don't just stay suspended or what not.  Too much talent.  He would have been reinstated at Lee or Sterling too, so I am not just putting it on GCM. GCM should have one of the better 4A offenses in the Houston area with the addition of Gibson.  The qb was already all-district quality, and I hear the running back is good, though I don't think he played against Lee last year.  The thing with Gibson is, you better double cover him.  If you don't, then you are just asking for trouble.
18. Good question about how BH ended up on that home side. I'm not even certain this is a varsity game.  I wonder if it might be the Texas/LA all-star game?
19.
Look at the Stallworth picture that game was GCM vs. BH look at the difference in the Fan base!
How long has BH been around compared to GCM? With Lee or Sterling you would have a point.  Horrible turn out for those two, but GCM has only had two graduating classes when that picture was taken I am guessing. Barbers Hill probably has 8,000 living alumni compared to 800 for GCM. BH was also a winner last year.  I went to the Lee game at BH two years ago, wasn't a huge BH turnout.
20. Glad we are out of 19-4A, so I can root for Dayton again.  Hope you guys do well.
