Its basketball and its physical. If you dont wont the contact learn needle point
Obviously someone still harbors ill feelings toward HJ because their son couldn't cut it at HJ - I love it!!!
 2.
hopefully HJ can get their press established well enough to keep Sealy out of their half-court game, and somewhat negating RSJ's size by making it a running game.  on the positive, HJ has plenty of big bodies to throw in there at him as well.  I'm not sure there are many teams who can put multiple players as tall or taller against him throughout the game.  Gonna go out on a limb here and say that HJ blows it open, and wins 75-53.
Between Joe, Cade & Tanner we have 15 fouls to give - beyond that we may be in trouble.
So what would happen if a team were to cover back and play defense?
I hope we get to find out
I do too but it wouldn't break my heart to see HJ advance that far & have La Vega eliminated prior to that - HA!
Yes, you are crazy!!!!! ;D ;D ;) ;) But yes, you might be right in thinking that the 3A Region 3 Champ might win it all!!!!  Estacado, Dallas Madison and San Antonio Houston might have something to say about that!!!
I know that Estacado & SA Houston are ranked higher than HJ & Silsbee but do you really think they are better?
I like Silsbee in this game. I think the Tigers speed, athleticism, and man-to-man pressure defense will be too much for Splendora. Only team that Splendora has played this year that could come close to comparing to Silsbee's speed is Coldspring and Splendora lost both those games, 56-41 and 61-31. I have seen Coldspring play, they are a little bigger than Silsbee but are not as fast. Splendora does not tend to handle man defense that well. I got Silsbee by 15+.
AAW, you're being somewhat diplomatic.  Silsbee by at least 25 with the Silsbee coaching staff calling off the dogs and keeping it somewhat respectable.
Yes right into a Brookshire Royal team that has two '6"6 post players and swept Jones' Sealy team in district by scores of 101-81 and 86-70. ;) ::) The concession had more to do with Silsbee wanting to lineup a particular warm up opponent and prepare them for some match up problems than the route thru the brackets. Also, If they play.....where will the game be?
If one coach wants to play, then two things will happen. They will play the game or the team that didn't want to play will concede the #1 seed. I think the latter will happen. I don't see these two teams playing the seed game.
A rumor I heard from one of the players, and please remember, not only is this a rumor but it also comes from a teenager is that Silsbee doesn't want to play a seeding game & they will go in as the #2 seed from district 21-3A.
 19. Well DV I obviously made someone upset because my replys aren't being posted - I guess I have to concede my defeat.  Congrats on being more politically correct - looking forward to our next debate.

You can be a  3rd or 4th place team and make the playoffs! Is that really a true accomplishment? Maybe in today's standards it is looked at in a favorable way.
