E is an extremely big 1A team... i believe they will use height to their adv. and make return trip next week.

game is about match ups -- silsbee would agree im sure. if milano has trouble matching up and couple kids from E have good game. then i wouldnt be suprised if E wins this one. ... if its close look for fts and hustle plays to be the diff.

if the sport makes money , i doubt it gets cut.  ... golf, tennis,track,baseball,softball ???

if 2nd were so great --- why didnt they come in second? ...its easy enough to lose one vs o - field .  maybe o - field was throwing those games to come in second.??

no official in any chapter is also a varsity coach. ...i doubt this unfolded the way it is being told here. officials dont just hand out tech's and lie to the uil " for the hell of it" ... i certainly dont know any of the details , and im not an official - but that story sounds fabricated.  there can be things said on the court that fans cant hear -thats prob more like what really happened.

woodville will play smart but hardin prob has too much of an advantage. ... great year for both tho.

ft shooting is about handling pressure  -- something most kids struggle with.  form is a close second -- but i think you can shoot granny shots effectively as long as you are confident. ... someone said 100 made a day --- thats key. now how much of practice do you sacrifice for that??  depends on how important you think they are

png needs to get better... quit making excuses for them. they dont care about bb over there... i wouldnt want to play or coach over there.  -  as long as ozen did it using reserves and didnt pick up till half court im good with it.

for fanin stands --- if you had a 75% ft shooter who had  went 1-7 from the line and a 65% ft shooter who was 7-8 from the line and you had to shoot a tech . foul -- which one shoots that night?

lot has to happen for a big upset ... you have to make the decision before the game ever starts. -- if png is primaraly a half court zone team then i dont see why i would come out for one possession. even if i were just playing not to lose in regulation. if png were a pressure D team then i would have cont. to play the same.  take all those percentages and throw em out. its about having a feel for your team as a coach. -- looks like the best team won from what i can tell(which is usually what happens anyway)

pg 13 .... use sparingly if need be ... it comes down to the individual tho. and the group of kids. some kids respond some dont - up to the coach to know his/her kids. but you simply can not direct it at one kid in a berating way.  -- its usualy not what you say its HOW you say it.

so youre saying if they dont have club vb - then silsbee would be one of best teams in district?? . not sure about the reasoning - dont get me  wrong,  i think club vb is a waste of time and money. they all have been led to believe they can only get a scholarship this way.

h-f will do good to get 3rd... lets not get carried away with how good they are. and im not sure they get 3rd yet??
