I think the reason all the HD supporters are talking so much smack now is because of the arrogance of the Koutze fans on this thread. All HD's folks have picked the Bobcats to win have said they feel it will be a close game. The Kountze ppl are saying 3+ TD's and Lions in a blowout. Seriously guys?? Honestly, HD beat Hardin. Big deal. Hardin won 3 games last year (one was over Kountze tho). In the same breath, Kountze beat Shepherd... on a last second play. The same Shepherd Pirates that won ONE game last year (and that was over 0-10 Tarkington). Yes Shepherd is a 3A and yes Hardin in a 2A so both teams opened with a win over a larger classification school. All I'm saying is that just like HD shouldn't be claiming to be world beaters after beating Hardin, Kountze damn sure can't claim that after squeaking past Shepherd. Daisetta expects to win. They respect Kountze and know they have talent. There are 1A teams in the area that would smoke Kountze (Alto, Mart, SA etc) and HD is trying to get to that level. If HD wins it still won't be a big deal. No different than beating Hardin. Be prepared little lions cause you will see what the talk is about in 6 hours or so.

Might want to contact Tarkington. I think their freshmen are playing Hardin's JV. One way or the other, Tarkington has a team (JV or Freshman) who don't have a game scheduled for tomorrow.

I think Tarkington pulls this one out to go 2-0. Tarkington - 32 Hardin - 20 Tarkington's sophomore quarterback Hunter Johnson is for real. Been following him since last year and he's a difference maker. He rushed for 211 yards and a TD last week and was 10/17 passing with 78 yards and 2 TD's.

You Kountze guys were talking more crap after y'all beat mighty Shepherd than HD was after beating Hardin. I picked HD and Kountze to win and they did. To me, not much was proven winning a game you were expected to win. You guys can say all you want but I promise HD is gonna surprise ya lol. I think it's going to be a very good game. I just can't take the Kountze by 40, or 3TD's, or as much as they want comments. If you guys really think the Lions will run away with this, that's where you are mistaken. I honestly don't think either team will have proven a whole lot when this game is said and done regardless of the outcome. If HD wins, big deal they beat another Kountze team that is all preseason hype. If Kountze wins, big deal they beat a 1A team that didn't make the playoffs last year. I think it'll be close and if it's not a ton of ppl will be surprised. This is my last post (I think lol) on this thread. My prediction: Bobcats - 26 Lions - 19

West Sabine - 41 Hemphill - 34

I'm 100% confident in the Bobcats and what they are gonna do. Just playing the same role as Coach Finney and the Bobcats this year. Don't talk a lot of smack, don't act like you're anything special, and stay under the radar. Kountze will not be ready for what they're gonna see but I'd rather just surprise 'em!!

This is going to be a great test for both teams. Can't wait til Friday night. I look forward to a closely contested game. If Kountze plays disciplined and makes a few big plays, they're gonna win. If HD avoids turnovers and plays with the same intensity as last week, they win. See y'all at the Swamp!!

I'm not being overbearing at all. We beat Hardin, big deal honestly. I mean a win is a win but we expected that. I don't think a lot of other ppl did. If HD beats Kountze, still no big deal. They beat HD last year, HD beat them in '10 and the series is pretty split. We expect to beat Kountze. You Lion guys think about this. One of Hardin's more realistic and honest fans on this board said that Hardin is actually better this year than they were last year and that this HD team probably would have beat them by 50+pts. Last time I checked Kountze lost to that Hornet team last year. Just something for you guys to think about. HD is for real. I'm not saying HD is gonna blow Kountze out or that the Lions won't beat us with their speed and some big plays. What I am saying is that if you think this is HD from the last couple years that people pushed around, you are sadly mistaken. These boys will hit you in the mouth from the first play which id right around the corner. Good luck to both teams.
