1.
Yes that's very true.  HD is better than last year and playing at home.  And Lovelady did lose a lot from last year.  But truthfully, Lovelady didn't lose any of the discipline that they had.  And HD has yet to prove that they can play mistake free.  Don't get me wrong, I'm pulling for the cats in this one.  But even in the last 2 wins they had, they still put the ball on the grass...  In fact, every game they turn it over.  If they don't cut down on the mistakes in a hurry, these last 2 weeks might get ugly. Mistake free game:  28 - 24 either team. If HD has mental breakdown:  Lovelady 42 HD 20
I'd agree with this and this prediction
2. I could be in for a big suprise, but all these predictions of HD losing by 35-50 points is crazy. I'm from Hull-Daisetta, but I'm also a realist. I really was high on HD's team going into this season, but a couple bad games against Iola and Crossroads where they had a total of 13 turnovers, had me losing a little faith as well. But honestly, who wins games with 8 turnovers?? Those problems are corrected and the Bobcats are hanging on to the ball for the most part. A couple key turnovers against 2A Deweyville or they could have pulled that one out losing 23-20. I'm not making excuses, but if HD had to re-play their 3 losses this season now, I'd be willing to bet they win 2 of those 3, if not all three games. We have improved, just as Lovelady has improved. Last year the Lions took it to HD in the playoffs and it wasn't close. With that being said, HD is alot better this year than they were last year, and in my opinion Lovelady isn't nearly as good as they were last year (they were really really good last season). Adding up those factors, the fact that it's in Daisetta, the Bobcats would love some revenge for that playoff loss last season, and that both teams are playing well and coming off big wins and this will determine the district championship.... I think anything can happen! I'm not gonna predict a score, but I promise you neither team will win by 40 points! It'll be a game that can go either way that will be single digits unless one team makes several mistakes. Let's go Bobcats!
3.
Tough loss for my Oilers!  HD's #35 Gilmore & WH's #80 Harrington were each schools MVP's tonight.  Best of luck to the Bobcats!
I agree with this as well. #32 Burns for WH is a hoss as well. Tyler Drake played a great game as well rushing for over 100 yards and playing great defense. I think Gilmore proved tonight that he's the front runner for district MVP, kid was everywhere on both sides of the ball. Great job Bobcats. Time to take out West Sabine and Lovelady and go get that district championship. Good luck to WH the rest of the year and great rivalry game as usual.
4. Marberry punches it in from 5yds out. HD-27 WH-12 2:15
5. Later bro. It ain't over yet. Oilers score after blown coverage. HD-20 WH-12 6min to go
6. 20-6 Bobcats end of the third. Good talking to you big dogg. Good luck to them Oilers next year, the Cats are putting the nail in the coffin!
7. Marberry with a 1 yard score. HD-20 WH-6 Tyler is playing good. Bout 60yds rushing in the first half.
8. Indeed I am bro. #80 for WH returns a bobcat fumble around 50yds for a score. 2pt conversion stopped. 13-6 HD with 30 seconds til half
9. Gilmore scores from 15 yards out. PAT no good. HD- 13 WH-0 2:42 til half
10. 5yd sweep by Keith Gilmore for the Td. 7-0 HD 11:53 left in 2nd qtr
11. Marberry with a great 81 yd TD run HD is dominating but has turned the ball over twice. HD up 7-0 halfway thru 2nd qtr
12. I knew this one was gonna be ugly early. I wonder how many yards Albritton is gonna go for tonight?
13. Final Score: Hull-Daisetta Bobcats - 20 Deweyville Pirates      - 23 Great game from both teams.....
14. 2nd down Pirates with 1:10 to go. Bobcats use their final timeout :'(
15. Pirate defense is manning up big time and shutting down the Bobcat O.
16. Bobcats forced to punt. Pirates takeover on their own 20yd line. Both defenses are playing tough....
17. Bobcats go for it on 4th and 1.... Measuring...... 1st down Bobcats!!! 2:07 to go in the 3rd qtr.
18. Bobcat defense holds and forces a Pirate punt. 1st and 10 on HD's 42yd line.
19. Touchdown Deweyville. Brady Williams from 1yd out. Same play for the 2pt conversion. Bout 7 mins left in the 3rd, Deweyville leads 17-14.
20. Halftime: Hull-Daisetta Bobcats: - 14 Deweyville Pirates        - 9
21. HD scores on a 64yd touchdown pass from Chisolm Marberry to Kerwin Hill with under a minute to play in the first half. PAT is good and the Bobcats lead 14-9. So much for Deweyville shutting HD out lol
22. The Bobcat defense holds one more time on 4th down. HD takes over on their own 15yd line. Deweyville is dominating field position since HD's first drive that ended with a Bobcat fumble. 3min left til halftime.
23. Bad snap on HD punt, and Deweyville forces a safety. Deweyville takes the lead 9-7. David Morrow injured on the play....
24. HD's defense holds Deweyville on a 4th down attempt. Keith Gilmore with a big sack. 9:30 left in 2nd
25. HD's already put the ball on the ground early in the game, gotta hang on to the ball. Both teams with a 1st quarter turnover. Deweyville is back in HD territory after a 20yd gain on a fake punt on a 4th and 5. Tied at 7-7 end of the 1st.
