1. Deweyville scores on a 18yd TD run. PAT is good. 4:19 to go in the 1st qtr: Hull-Daisetta - 7 Deweyville    - 7
2. 6min left in the 1st quarter, HD leads 7-0. Alan Collette with a 20yd interception return for a TD on Deweyville's first possession.
3.

Have you seen #20 from High Island? He's a Beast! C'mon Man! HI - All the way!!!!!!!!!!!
So was the Cookie Monster from Hull a couple years ago.  The Rebs beat on him all night long!!  He was a beast and Evadale took that one 16-6.  I know #20 for HI is a load, but you'll need more weapons to take the crown. Evadale High Island Burkeville Sabine Pass
Its funny that I started calling Aaron the Cookie Monster when he was a freshman and boy did that nickname stick. He was a great player but Evadale did contain him that night for sure. Evadale wins this district walking away and is the only team with playoff run potential...in my opinion.
4. No problem on the updates hitchpin. HD did stack the box and was in the backfield almost every play.  Its worth noting that Tarkington lost one of their RBs early in the game to an ankle injury. Not sure how big of a difference that made. Great sportsmanship on both sides. Go Bobcats!!
5. HD takes a knee with a first and goal at the 7. Final score: Hull-Daisetta - 28 Tarkington - 6
6. Yes Tarkington is 3A and Daisetta is 1A. HD has 18 kids suited up. HD has dominated. Tyler Drake goes in for a 35yd TD. Bobcats lead 28-6 with 8:28 to go. Not sure how Tarkington scored 30+ points on Hardin. Their only score tonight came on a fumble returned for a score.
7. End of the 3rd score still 21-6. HD had a good drive going but fumbled.
8. Bobcat defense holds then Marberry takes off for a 23yd option keeper. 21-6 HD with 3 min left in 3rd.
9. HD's defense holds. At the half Hull-Daisetta - 14 Tarkington -6
10. After a longhorn 3 and out, a good punt return by Hill sets up a 40 yard touchdown scamper by Marberry again, this time from the wingback position. PAT good. HD leads 14-6. Ensuing kickoff returned 75 yards by Tarkington to HD 5yd line. First and goal with 5:41 left in half.
11. Marberry with a 4yd QB sweep for the TD. PAT good. HD leads 7-6 with 8:01 remaining in the first half.
12. End of 1st Tarkington leads 6-0. HD first and 10 on the Longhorn 27yd line to start the 2nd.
13. Defense is dominant for both teams. Only 1 first down for each team. Tarkington scores on a fumble recovery from twenty yards out. Two point conversion no good. 6-0 longhorns with 1:59 to go in 1st qtr.
14. I guess the game isn't on 99.9..... :'(
15. Final was: Hardin - 56 Liberty - 28 I believe Miles Taylor threw for 3 TDs and rushed for another one.
16. When I was playing, West Sabine had a really good tailback and linebacker, Marcus Horn. Me and one of my buddies were watchin some film on them on wednesday after practice and we noticed that when he was getting the ball (which was about 25-30 times a game) he held his head up, looking at the defense. When he wasn't gettin it, head towards the ground. We told our coaches and we prepared and let everyone know the tell. He still got a bunch of yards, but not near as many as he would have if we didn't know that.
17. Hondo, Gilmore did make first team linebacker, as well as running back. His name was left off the original posting. I was suprised as well that HI didn't have one or twp O-linemen make the all-district team.
18. I'm from Daisetta, and I don't know "why" come you've never heard of  Lovelady. I was just saying my opinion about Shead playing 1A as opposed to 2A and that Lovelady is just as good as most 2A's. I base this opinion on the fact that Lovelady was 3-0 against 2A schools this season including a 49-7 win over 2A playoff team Buffalo and a 33-14 win over 2A playoff team Franklin. The other win was a 55-22 win over Groveton who's a traditional 2A powerhouse. They also beat Mart by 2TD's who's a regional finalist this year and a recent 2A state champion. I think that backs up the point I was making.
19. Final Score: Lovelady: 29 Cayuga :  38 Cayuga will face winner of Mart/Teneha. Mart was up 22-16 last I heard.
20. 72yd TD by Malcolme Kennedy of Cayuga. He's going to A&M. 38-29 Cayuga. 8:55 to go. PS: Lovelady is 12-0 and would beat 90% of all 2A teams in the state. JMO
21. 31-29 Cayuga with 9:19 left in the game. Lovelady's QB Jordy Densen is a hoss!!
22. 31-22 Cayuga, end of the 3rd qtr
23. Cayuga leads 25-14 at halftime. Traylon Shead has TD runs of 48 and 93yds and on the latter became the all-time leader in touchdowns in texas high school history.
24. After converting another 4th down attemp in their own territory, KVille with a 55yd TD pass. KVille - 21 Anahauc - 6
25. Anahauc @ the 1yd line. Toucdown Panthers!! PAT no good. Wildcats - 14 Panthers - 6 10:45 in 4th
