Awesome...I knew Pete pretty well and knew you guys were buddies. Glad to see he is  helping out!

Well thats true because of the way Baytown has zoned JR highs in the past. With the new high school opening up they have changed some Jr highs to be true feeder schools. If things stay this way I think in 3-4 years you will see a difference. I know all of CBJ goes to Sterling now and most of Gentry does. Both of those schools 7a teams have some serious talent. On the 8th A grade level, Gentry was loaded and most of those kids will go to sterling...all of CBJ's will. I promise you this group will start winning at the high school level next year. A combination of the 8th A and 7th A kids last year played together on an allstar team..they played tournaments in humble and magnolia vs teams from all over the state...I would say on average the scores were 50-7. If these kids stay together and stay eligible, they will make a impact. Even at the Jr high level, I doubt any Baytown school had beaten North Shore in a long while.

they also didnt play north shore or anyone close to that now did they? as for points scored...coach likes to take the foot off the gas. Last game could have been 75-0 had Mike Leach been coaching the team. saying this kind of tonque in cheek, I know that chase is a good player.

Baytown Cedar Bayou 8A is 7-0  and 7A is 7-0. Both beat North Shore and look to lock in District titles this next week in the season finale against Baytown Gentry.

Which one is the QB? the 7A Cedar Bayou team from Baytown is 7-0. They have outscored their opponents 209-40 but 26 of those came in a 34-26 win over north shore!

what is the deal with the coaching out there in BH? I have a friends kid who plays JR high out there and he says the coaches never coach the kids..never yell at them or direct them in anyway during the game. They have kids playing on the line that should be playing QB or WR or some kind of skill position...this is the 8th grade B team..says they run the same play over and over as well on offense....I always thought BH had "the program" for their level...sounds like even at the varsity level there are issues???

actually that win was more like 98 or 99 against katy...manley was still coach thru at least 96-97 If you cook it just right it's not all that bad.....Just use plenty of cheese. C-mon being from Sterling you have had to have eatin plenty of crow thru the 90's Not really. Not a whole lot to crow about! There was that year (1992 or '93) when Kyle Gandy was Head Coach here that we beat Katy on their Homecoming to break some sort of 7 year home winning streak for the Tigers.
