Great game. Great sportsmanship. These two teams showed why this is a special game. congrats to silsbee. and that was easily jasper’s best coached game i have seen in some time now.

What happened to 99?

Been to many Silsbee vs Jasper game through the years, and like all the rest there (well most of them anyways) will be plenty of energy and hard hits. Speed and athleticism all over the field. A few of the kids on the field friday will be stars at the next level and possibly the one after that. Silsbee is the clear favorite (2 touchdowns sounds about right), but rivalry games have a way of being unpredictable. Jasper's offense is the key factor here. They have struggle against better competition, and this fits the bill for that for sure. Looking forward to a good game.

So many mistakes by both teams it shows that both have a lot of improving to do. But what an exciting game regardless. I don’t even know what to say about the refs. both teams played with a ton of heart and emotion. Jasper vs wo-s rarely disappoints. i hope wo-s gets everything clicking…the pieces are there for sure.

I would certainly argue that Tarkington is better than Huffman and Hardin historically. When Johnson was at Tarkington no one in SE Texas had a winning record against them that I can remember. Huffman had become their equal in the last few years of that time frame. Hardin was a tough match but rarely won more than a game here and there which is no slight seeing they are a class lower. I do not remember Snell ever beating Johnson. Perhaps that has been long enough ago now that Tarkington has lost all volleyball luster, which is a shame.

Jasper played poorly. Franklin is well coached and talented.

I think it was the kind of game we needed to prepare for wos and silsbee. Spring was athletic and fast on both sides of the ball. anyways….on to next week.

Maybe a mild upset at best since it was in jasper. silsbee 41-14 over huffman spring legacy 29-0 over huffman this is a pretty good team from what i saw, but yeah i think jasper feels they lost one they should have won.

His conduct wasn’t bad, but living at midfield play after play after play was uncalled for and should not have been allowed. Didn’t affect the outcome from what I saw.

Dawgs came short. Hard watching that coach do what he did all night, but no denying that Spring Legacy has plenty of talent. It was a good game to learn by for Jasper. I liked the way the responded each time they were down. Lot to work on, but plenty to work with.

Still 7-7. jasper needs serious work on offense. Especially passing game. Defense is solid.

This team is no walk in the park. Michael Bishop is the coach and he is on the field more than anyone since Dan Hooks. Good game so far.

Legacy has to average 300+ across the offensive line. This team has plenty of size and speed. Qb looks pretty good too.

Thanks. Looks like what i type, but i have never been good at or a fan of this system. Very little chat about what is happening in the games anymore, but at least i can quickly scan down the page and get the scores.
