OF has to stop a very, very potent Jasper team, don't get me wrong. But OF 1 through 9 has been the difference for the Bobcats this year including last week. If Jasper holds OF to 4-5 runs twice, Dogs win. But it takes a lot to do that. [/quote] Wish we had scores for both teams for all their games this year.  Neither teams has been held to 4 or 5 runs very many times.  I know in Jasper's losses they were shut out once by Hester.

[/quote] Well Hicks beat us the first game.  And unearned runs caused him the 2nd game.  Jasper showed they had a good enough team to hang around and take advantage of mistakes against a top pitcher.  If Jasper plays good defense they have a great shot at going back to Austin.

Cool article. Was the kid who threw for BC this year in game 2 a freshman? I was amazed at how well Hicks threw in game 3.  He didn't seem to tire at all.

If it was basketball or football I would pick Yuga by 40, but since it is baseball and the Rebs are on a roll I think they will pull it out!

Wish Hicks and BC seniors the best.  Sure have enjoyed watching those guys the last several years.  Jasper has had a good run against BC, but it has always been games that could have went either way.
