The High School field is part of the Little League (actually Pony League now) complex. The HS field is the fartherst field on the back left of the complex. You park in the large field outside of the complex and walk in. Great place to play, but like most HS fields, there will not be enough seating to hold a big HS playoff game like this. I would get there early.
Not near enough seating.  More fans there this year than the Carthage/Jasper game last year.
 2. Jasper's defense was horrendous.  You can't win games playing that poorly.  BC hit the ball hard all night.  They looked as good as usual.
 3.
I dont sit with the strike zone either but I love the fact that baseball is supported so strong by the student body in jasper. Look at all the other schools that we play in district or playoffs no other school brings as many kids than jasper. now alot of that is they enjoy "heckeling" but what ever works, it brings a great atmosphere to all the ball games...
I have seen softball teams that would drive anyone crazy..
 4. The hecklers aren't that bad.  But I generally move away from also  :)

BC has done well in 3A but also competed when in 4A. The competition IMO is a little tougher in the golden triangle. We all know BC is young. I don't think that will make a difference. I still say BC wins in 3. Even though I have never seen Jasper play. Trying to get back on topic. Orangefield beat Jasper in the playoffs in 2005 and was the underdog. Of course it was a 1 game series. That does make a difference. The Orangefield kids have benefited from the BC little league.
Jasper has a long string of playoff appearance that date back to their time in 4A also.  They have been beaten by many good teams over the years in the playoffs.  I am sure the competition is tough in the Golden Triangle, but there are several teams in East Texas with the state championships from the Pineywoods.  Carthage, Jasper, Woodville, Colmesneil, San Augustine, and Alto are the schools with championships through the years that I can think of off the top of my head.  I am sure there are others.  Most of those teams aren't what they used to be but it isn't unheard of for teams from the Lakes area to hold their own.
I do know that the teams from the lakes area can hold their own. Their record speaks for itself.  Most of the posters on here have picked Jasper.  I am pulling for BC because according to most posters they are the underdog. Got to love the underdog, plus they are our neighbors. Orangefield and Bridge city have a love-dislike relationship. We pull for them when we don't play them. I am sure you understand, kind of like the Silsbee/Jasper thing. ;D ;D
Oh I don't know about BC being the underdog here.  Lots of folks on here from the triangle who think BC will take this one.  It can go either way and there is no clear favorite.

 7. Mixon graduated from Jasper in 1990. Sowell, Burleson, and Alvis are main pitchers for Jasper. Parker Phillips can throw as can a couple other Bulldogs. Any word on how Alvis is doing?
 8. It is a toss up from here on out.  Any of these 4 teams in the region have just as good of a shot as the next team.  Jasper has been the underdog last couple times they have played BC.  At the beginning of the year you would have slated them to be an underdog against  BC, and probably the only you wouldn't say that now is because BC lost to Orangefield twice.  They are still very capable of going all the way.  Sometimes it is the team you count out that can make it happen.   Hicks is too good for Jasper to go for a one game series IMO.
 9. What kind of field does Lumberton have?
 10. The last time in Nederland it was very crowded.  The last time at Vincent Beck was ideal.
 11.
score?
6-4 going to top 3rd
 12.
Bottom of the 1st Sprague walks to lead off the 1st.....Jones reaches on HBP, Sprague to second.....DeBerry reaches on bunt infield hit, bases loaded.....Haschagen strikes out (1 out).....West pops out to short (2 out).....Listi hits a grand slam homer, Bridge City 4, Huffman 4
What grade is Listi?  I assume he is a brother to the Listi they had a few years ago.
 13.
another great up and coming coach in jessie rojas!! good for zane give a kid a little confidence and itll go a long way if you dont believe me try it sometimes .still big mountain to climb but for now congrats to wos!!
Seems Orangefield has the hill to climb now.  Threw their ace (I assume) and lost.  Huge win.
 14. Lovelady converts 2 pt conversion in final seconds to win the game.  :)
 15. K second batter K third batter.. I am too busy to do it much.  But I will give updates from time to time if no one else does.
 16. The year Jasper won sate their ace didn't even pitch at the state tournament.  I don't know that they have the depth on this club that was on that one, but they do have 3 or 4 quality pitchers now.
 17.

Who does Huffman play after they dust BC?
That's putting it midly ETBU, BC might not score a run, they really or a cinderalla team. Heck, I was told our own sports weekly show last week, " BC couldn't get past Taylor". Then here you come with Huffman, and heavan sakes look what my good friend Huper posted, I would be offended in that slight of Huffman next round.
Only get tougher from here. Next round likely BC and then either Orangefield or Robinson if things go as predicted. Heck make it out of Region III and the State Tourney might be easier.  Seemed it was the year Jasper won state.  Especially since Middleton had already pitched for LE :)

Hey I said likely, which to most people in Huffman means BC is in big trouble.
