With the fields like they are this might not bode well for Dayton's chances the 2nd half. Both of these schools have turf so it shouldn't be as bad as the mud some are playing in tonight.

Coop was bearable until Jasper beat them and since then his bias has been in full bloom. WO-S is the cream of the crop in SE Texas and has been nearly every single year since its inception. When you are on top that long people begin to want to see you fail. You can see that a lot of here when some people start goading WO-S fans when WO-S loses. But when someone like COOP gets on his high horse and acts like no one else exist except the Stangs it is hard to swallow for some that have endure a few beat downs through the years. But most of us who have been on here long enough and have met a few of each other's fan know that the rivalry b/t the two teams only makes us both better in the long run. Hopefully both teams can make the area proud.

I am hoping Silsbee just laid an egg against Diboll because if Diboll is that good we are in trouble tonight.

I agree wth you completely, Hup. Those are Coops words and he does not represent ALL of those who pull for WOS. I have, not one time, discredited Jaspers win over us and I never will. They beat us up that night, plain and simple. Coop is Coop, all of you should know by now what to expect and just take what he says with a grain of salt or skip his posts. Please refer to my last post, I don't think it's even close (as I stated earlier). I mean, your last place team beat one of our best... Hup, you and I have been posting on these sites for a long time, I think you KNOW how I mean't it. I know what you meant and as I said I wouldn't have disagreed if you meant it either way. Each of us has a poster or two that enjoys keeping these issues stirred up.

The Warden lives in Moss Hill. I saw probably 20 game wardens gather there back during Hurricane Ike. It was a convention or something.

This is what Southern thunder was referring too. Coop refuses to believe that Jasper has a team capable of beating WO-S unless there is a host of unusual circumstances. As if the McGill kid who made all of those interceptions doesn't deserve any credit for making the read and the plays. I listen to the game and their were 2 overturned calls one that favored each team. Maybe I missed one. Maybe the big monster Jasper had at nose guard had something to do with those bad snaps. Must be sad not to be able to give credit to a worthy opponent, especially one that beat you. As far as which district will be toughest to make the playoffs out of ?? Probably Jasper's. Diboll beat Silsbee and Silsbee is suppose to be the only threat to WO-S. I agree with Gas no matter which way he meant it. WO-S has never lost a 3A district game. The odds of them losing 3 this year and not making the playoffs are slim to none. The odds of Diboll, Carthage and Center or Rusk beating Jasper are slim too but not as unlikely as the other scenario.

Your comment about "you guys" would be more accurate if you said "you", as in one individual. Dang even WO-S fans are starting to call out Coop

I don't think Jasper is one of the top 15 teams in the state at this point, but I do think they are world's better than they were last couple years.

Memphis to Houston (Blue Color) is the heaviest at 7PM, hopefully it will blow though quicker. What in your experience is the accuracy of these forecast 2 days in advanced? I mean I understand the chance of rain, but predictions that show the what the radar will look like seems a bit too precise.

Hard to get a true read on PNG because I don't think they have played a quality team to date. The Livingston game will clear the picture, but a game against Vidor or Central will show everyone what PNG has to offer. The may win out, the may lose 4 district games. I haven't a clue at this point.

After Jasper plays Carthage that would mean Jasper has played the #1 team Gilmer #2 Carthage and #3 WO-S in the state. That is impressive. Can't remember that happening before.

Very tough one to pick based off of the scores. I went with home team. Playoff implications in this one. Is Colmesneil good enough to make the playoffs this year? This district seems down a lot this year.
