That's good but we sure need Hart too. Hart isnt playing because he was late getting to the bus on tuesday and nearly got left. the bus turned around after leaving once to go get him and he told them to just leave. My guess is the teams mad at him as well as coach mixon. thats probably why he's not playing Ouch..well glad he isn't hurt. Hope things get worked out. He is a great kid and player.

For Jasper to have a shot at going anywhere in the playoffs then it looks like these underclassmen are going to have to come up big on the bump.

Then don't "criticize a coach"....he is anything but irresponsible.... He knows what he is doing & would never put a kid in jeopardy....he is a great coach and knows more about his players than we do... What kind of injury does stephenson have? He is a great coach. If he were irresponsible, he would have pitched the injured Stephenson.

seems jasper has always pitched their guys a lot of innings. girdley use to burn up a bunch of innings too.

Im just saying Jaspers run this year in the playoffs will be very tuff. They will end up having to play Needville or Sweey in the second round and possibly a much stronger Hudson team so i just believe it won't happen IMO. But if they make it out alive and to the regional finals they would have proven alot............. Jasper has already handled Hudson once this year.

I understand why Hart as trying to steal as he did last night but the running surface wasn't exactly idea to be stealing bases. Either way it is a great accomplishment by Clark to throw him out. After some of the rough throws he had against Jasper last year this game had to be a huge boost to his confidence with the long ball and the throw out.

Sure hope they meet up again at Vincent Beck..that was some fun games to watch last year.

Good read. I didn't think Hicks would finish this game after 2 innings but he settled down and pitched a great game.
