I went back and read my post several times and no were did I use the word IF. Don't know how old you are but I watch him play live not on tape and Like I said they changed the rules to make the game more Off. orientated to benefited him. Go back and watch games before mike and see if anyone ever palmed the ball as much as he did. They changed there traveling rules to make the game higher scoring. I m not saying that is a bad thing. I am just saying they changed the rule that helped him score. I watch Wilt score 100 points and the next year the changed the rules to stop him, just him. Jordan was a great player and the best of his time, But today he would just be one of the best of many. But this is one of those thing that could go on for ever. Just as who is the greatest Rocky or Mike, we will never know

All the players that you have named as shot blockers were just that blockers. That is why the rules changed in Jordan favor. They then gave him the extra step they gave him the continuation shot That made the game more exacting . More off. less def. No one wonted to watch Detroit win a 50 to 70 game. He was faster and more athletic and that gave him the edge. Name one other forward at that time that could stay with him? Now you have one or more on ever team that play def. and could stay with him step for step. Not saying that he would not be great, but not as dominating as he was. JMO

MJ would still Be a great player,but I don't think he would dominate the game as he did then. He got a lot of calls his way because he was MJ and they gave him more leeway. And he had no real equal at that time. Now they give those same calls to a lot more players than they did then. He was the main superstar that was playing at that time. I would love to have been able to watch him play todays superstars. How would you like to watch MJ BIRD Magic Labron Koby D Wade KJ Shaq Willt All play at there prime . Woa what a game.

Kobe wins without Shaq. Guess he showed who the real MVP is. Jordan never won without Pippon. 4 rings not bad.Maybe Shaq will go to the Cavs next year and help Labron.

Cavs were in finals last year ,so getting there has not been the prob. This prod will be Shaq's last chance of getting back to finals. He helped Kobe and D Wade get there championships why not help LABRON. He is still one of the best real big men the league has. Don't know how much he has left ,but if they save him for the playoffs they could get there.

Sad as it is what governs wins and losses in pro sports is $$$ lots of $$$ The rest of us are just along for the ride. That is the reason I enjoy highschool sports so much $$ has not taken over that (yet). But the private schools getting better organized that may not last much longer

watched Silsbee play and watched H J play in summer games, JMO If HJ slows game to a half court game I would give the edge to HJ they have a stronger in side game Silsbee has no real size inside. But they have lots of speed. And can really shoot. Again JMO. Two real good teams

Look for Potts from Evadale to put up a lot of yards this year. Evadale is planing to spread the field this year with some big receivers .That should open up the field for some big runs . Potts is a small kid but very strong leg drive and very fast in the open. If he gets out in open field say by-by

YEA IT is summer League and I am sure that Lumb. is playing harder due to playing HJ. but you could not be farther off if you think HJ coach did not care about the game. He sat 2 rows up from me and i heard him calling out to his players. You may not care about the play of summer league but he sure did. Lumberton had no real chance , due to the fact HJ rotated there players ever 4 min. that keep Lumberton close . But Lumberton looks good and they will have a respective team this year.

Good teams shoot 3 pointers (game 3) Great teams make free throws LA leads 3 games to 1. The fat lady is warming up. It just about time to turn out the lights . La closes it out at home. Kobe wins with out Shack. Jordan ever won without Pippen.

I agree this is a great camp. My son has attended 2 years and has improved each year. The only thing is ,that this camp will let you know if you like to play basketball or you are a basketball player. If your not that serious you will find out there. We are going back this year to work on inside game.

Watched the last two games to night HJ V - Lumb. V . Good game Lumb lost by 2 and had a chance to tie at the end and the kid miss a lay up. They were down by 2 with 49 sec left and took it down to 5 and missed it. Me I would have tried to score a little faster but it was a good shot just missed it. Then Evadale played Lumb JV in last game Lumb only had 5 players Evadale won a sloppy game Lumb had no one to match up with Evadales two big kids. Someone needs to tell the ref that it is Summer league and not the playoffs. They call every little hand check and push.Let them play they will even out in the end. With a running clock all the calls take playing time off the clock.

Yeah, he's even worse than Tim Duncan. Kobe had to leave the floor so no one could see him crying.. :'( Why would Kobe be crying? Don't know who is V and Who is JV HJ is playing 3 teams in this league and lumberton is playing 2 and Kountze is playing 2. They are all High school players that will be playing next year and what better way to see if a kid can play at the V level, There is only so much you can see at practice. Some kids play in games better . I know that it is just summer league but look in stands and see who's coaches are there. They cant set the bench but bet your @ss they are calling the shots on who playing and what they are running.

There are cultures that do not eat beef.There are some cultures that believe in abortions. Still cant make connection from eating beef and hanging a dog. I don't think any culture is OK with torturing dogs .Some cultures might eat dog and cats but hanging is something different. But Mike Vick is just one of many superstars that kid should not look up to. Packman, Burris just to name a few. They might be good players but not role models. Like I said kids need to find real role models first start at home.

Just hate to see young kids put so much hype in to any one that just plays a game. Why cant they look up to their school teachers, police, are parents. Most of these players never went to any classes to get a education. They just PLAY A GAME. Don't get me wrong I love sports but we have to put it in perspective. Kids cant worship these players, AS Charles Barkley once said he never sign up to be a role model he was just a basketball player. What Lebron did In the big picture is not that big of a deal. I just think that our kids need to pick better role models. Remember not that long ago how many Mike Vicks jerseys were being worn.

I am not for sure but i think that spurger may play in the Ktz summer league after woodville is over. What all teams will be in the Ktz summer league? Teams that are in the Kountze summer League : Kountze 2 teams, Silsbee, Lumberton 2 teams,Evadale, Hardin Jefferson 3 teams. Games start June 8th end on July 9th June 8th games are 5 pm Kountze red - Hardin Jefferson blue 6 pm Kountze black - Hardin Jefferson white 7 pm Sisbee - Evadale 8 pm Lumberton White - Lumberton Blue

Went to Kirbyville Thur. night to their summer League. Not impressed, Evadale played Kirbyvilles A team first, Evadale was up by 20 with 4:00 left when Kirb, started taking cheep shots throwing elbows and shoving in the back. I guess they did not like it that a 1a team was smoking there @ss .Very unorganized no discipline and no class. The 2 game was between Buna and Jasper Jasper was up 50 to 8 at half. After that it was not worth watching ended a lot to not much . Not much of a game. 3d game was Evadale and Kirbyville B team. Evadale was up by 16 when Kirbyville started the same cheep shots they ended up with 1 players thrown out of each games 1 in the first and one in the second . Fill sorry for some of their players that are on the B team they played hard but 2 are 3 were just thugs on the court. I don't see Evadale going back this year. Nothing to gain by playing street ball with punks. Heard that Basketball head coach there was leaving do to no discipline and no respect.
