Not the way that we hoped to start the season but, if you look back at the last 2 years. . . Winning non district games didn't get us very far in district play.  Lets correct the mental mistakes, eliminate turn overs and see if we can improve each week.  ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. !!!!!!!  Get back on track boys!

Raiders will win this one .... big.  Lookin to see how they improve over the next few weeks of running the new offense.  Lets start off with a bang Raiders!!!!!

Giving credit .... Lumberton is running a completely new offense.. nothing like what the returning players have been doing for the last 2 years.  They will become more comfortable in this offense every day.  They had 6 different backs that had carries in the first team offense and had considerable success which is reflected in the stats that are posted earlier.  The 2 big runs ( at least 50 yards each) that were called back would have been nice to add to those stats.  Overall ... they called 6 pass plays.. scrambled and didn't throw the ball once, completed 2 of the other 5 for 60 yards.  Defensively they need to swarm the ball more.  I said in another thread that these raiders will surprise some teams and after what I saw last night... LOOK OUT!!  Good start Raiders 

Gotta love the underdog roll.... wouldn't be as sweet if any one picked them to be anywhere but last.  Can't wait to see them prove some people wrong.  Go Get em Raiders!!

Too early to tell.  Guess the best receiver will depend on which QB steps up too.  Countdown to 7 on 7. 

Can't wait til tomorrow.  Anyone know what teams will be there.

If you want your son to Jump against some good competition early - There is a UH indoor meet on Feb 5th - there was another one on Jan 15 that we went to.  Seemed to be competition from all over the state there (at least there was in the running side). register through directathletics.com

Can't wait to see some area track.  Seems like time is flying by.  2 more years of football - 3 of track for my son .  Record it all - it will be over in a flash.  Glad we are running at the Nederland meet.

You don't have to go back too far in this thread to see several predictions of LCM beating Lumberton by 21-27 points.... LCM hasn't beat anyone they played all year by that much and Lumberton is definitely better than any team they have played thus far.

Everyone is 0/0 to start district and I think that Vidor couldn't ask for a better team to start the district race with... At Home... Ned QB gets first start after pretty long lay off... he was pretty bad to start season at Dayton (I Know.. Scrimmage).  Good opportunity to get off to a good start.  This one could go either way.

No Way!  This will be a good game.. they played each other in 7 on 7 several times this summer and it was close every time.  LCM squeeked by Goose Creek and we beat them in scrimage the week before they played.  If you are worried about stopping the run then you are in for a long night.  Raiders by 7.

PNG 2. Nederland 3. Central 4. LCM 5. Lumberton 6. Livingston 7. Ozen 8. Vidor[/color] All for supporting your team but no way can I see Nederland being #2.... I think PNG is the tops of the district but all other spots are up for grabs... I think Ozen will surprise some people (#7 would be a disappionting year for all that speed)
