Lumberton should be on there next week.... I think 20-4a will be much tighter than most early predictions.  Vidor played well against a big school and Lumberton is not a push over

Good to see Jamil Peeples doin well as a freshman.. triple jump and both hurdles.  Will be another 1 to watch in the next few years.. definitely has a good one to learn from in J. Reed...

Lumberton scored over 100 points in back to back weeks... thats probably never happened.  Way to go Raiders!

Bourque finished 6th in 200 hurdles... had bad race in 100 hurdles finished 14

Lumberton freshman team beat hamshire fannett 30 - 12. Was 30-0 til they gave up a couple of late td's with back ups in. This bunch was undefeated for last 2 years but didn't look that good in preseason.... looked much better tonight

congrats to Franks and Reed... Dont forget to watch the youth hurdles (100 and 200 meter). Lumberton hurdler Garrett Bourque posted a time of 14.30 to win the region 12 championship. He was followed closely by Jamil Peeples of Port Arthur with a time of 14.38 . Peeples took 1st in the 200 hurdles in 25.88. Bourque was not far behind at 25.92 .. Both of those times are top 8 in the nation. GOOD LUCK SE TEXAS!!!!

There are 2 other locals representing southeast texas... Garrett Bourque of Lumberton and Jamil Peeples of Port Arthur. Bourque finished 1st in the 100 hurdles and Peeples was a close second.. just .08 off of the lead. Peeples finished 1sh in the 200 hurdles with Bourque on his heals by .04. Both boys are ranked in the top 10 in the nation in the 200 hurdles. Good luck to all of our southeast texas competitors at the junior olympics.

Lumberton is losing a lot of seniors again this year. I was worried about how we would fair in the district this year and look how we ended up...... Props to Credeur. Hope some of those underclassmen hit a growth spirt so they can add to the young talent we already have on varsity now. Hopefully we are just adding to what seems to be a growing tradition.... GO RAIDERS!

C.O. Wilsons 202-0 is impressive and I did see most of those kids in junior football. It is certain, however that there wouldn't have been a "0" if they had played the Lumberton team. Would have been a great game to see...... looking forward to seeing them match up as freshman. Lumberton ended up 220 - 18 ... all 18 came when we pulled starters.
