Kirbyville will probably attempt 20 to 25 passes and Newton has some young secondary players, but I don't think Kirbyville can hang with Newton. Newton should come out and play tough defense with several players that have been rotated into the lineup. Something Kirbyville hasn't seen. Newton wins.

And it was Newton 8th grade 36 Kirbyville 6 at the half tonight when I left. Newton 7th grade won 30 - 6.

I don't think the Kirbyville fans are going to play the game. Reality is, as I have said, the talent level is down at Kirbyville from years past plus injury to some key personnel have left them even further depleted. One obnoxious fan does not spoil the barrel as I hope the Kirbyville fans realize also. ;)

Good luck on collecting anything from Kvillecats. Based on his past post he wouldn't be able to tell if he had a $100. He's said a lot and very little has come to pass so I get the feeling his allowance does not quite come to $100. ;D ;D

Did he sneak in and use the computer for these two posts while his mommie was asleep? Only posts I've seen from him. rykerx you might want to look at a little more film on Newton. Many of the scoring runs from Newton's backs this season have been up the middle. I would say probably more than around the end. Just a heads up. ;)

I don't see Kountze contending for the district title in this district. Just because they beat HD it don't make them giant killers. They have yet to play anyone nearly as strong as EC or Newton. Kountze may have some kids that can run, but they will need them and more in this district to contend for title.

Yes, stack the box, please. DJ will make that decision look intelligent. Kvillecats knows what Newton can't do just like he knows what Kirbyville CAN do. Fortunate to get WT or that program would have struggled? Your expansive knowledge of every program around continues to make me laugh. Kirbyville better be worried about their own program and the talent it doesn't have available or in the pipeline. Why the hiding after Kirbyville dominated Anahuac Kvillecats?

I live close to the river and there have been buzzards circling over the Louisiana side near Old River for a couple days now. I would have bet the buzzards wouldn't have touched him though. ;)

Newton been waiting on this one. Head coaches are friends, which means they would each like to take it to the other one, but WT wins this one hands down. Newton by 28.

I don't think jenks is from Warren. I think he has no idea of what he speaks and wants to condemn a coach that I have respect for. Classy left a long time ago. This has turned personal and I will defend Newton and the coach there. What he thinks of me doesn't matter one iota. What he says about Newton and their coach, matters a great deal. His warped idea of what is right should be questioned as long as he keeps insinuating that Newton's program and coaches are somehow dirty. As far me personally, I could care less what he thinks. I'll sleep quite comfortably tonight without worry.

I did read it and comprehended what your attempting to say. I'm saying you need to keep your comments accusing someone and their entire program of no class to yourself unless you have proof to back it up. As far as hazing the entire team, your nuts. Especially if it was one kid (the QB) that called it without the rest of the players knowing. I'm not saying this is what happened. I'm saying it is as much a possibility as anything you have said. Your hazing statement shows you know very little about high school kids and how to handle them. The play could have been called by the offensive coordinator and if it was, WT will deal with that. I'm saying your accusing a person you know nothing about of a very bad deed and have nothing to go on other than one persons observation which could be totally flawed. Grow up.

Yet you still want to condemn without knowing anything based in reality. Would you take anyone's comment at face value without knowing more? Your making a mountain out of a mole hill. Did the coach in fact call a play to score or did he call take a knee. You or I will never know that because we weren't in the huddle. If he did call take a knee and the players on the field changed it, your taking someone's word and accusing a coach of no class. Do you know WT Johnston personally? Does warfan? I do and I can tell you that there was no way he done anything to embarrass Warren or their players. Your eager to jump on the boat and condemn someone, are you just as willing to admit you have no idea what your talking about or anything about the person your accusing? And if the play was changed, I can guarantee you there will be repercussions (extra running, etc.) to assure that it don't happen again. If you think you know the entire situation, I say you don't know what your talking about. As far as Warren goes, their program is better than it has been in years. Take that and go home and quit whining.

We have taken it easy on you guys for years and now your wanting to talk about class? If Newton had beaten you as badly as they could have, this year as well as years past, you would be on here whining about being abused like a rented mule. Class is seen differently by different people, but I don't think you can accuse Newton of not having class based on all the years these two teams have played, including this one. WT was schooled by Coach Barbay for years on how to not embarrass teams with less ability and I take exception to your implications of him doing such. If you don't like what you got, get a better program and become more competitive and quit blaming other people for your lack of success.

And don't forget, Kvillecats also educated us all on how much talent was in the pipeline and would easily be a dominate force for years to come in 2A. :o Maybe only if he was Head Coach or possessed magical powers. 8)

With your expertise please tell me how many of those players on that drive were starters and what plays they were running compared to the rest of the game. You cannot ask any player to not give a 110% at any time on the field. Warren was playing hard, but Newton's collective team spirit was not geared to beating the Warriors senseless or it could easily have been over 100 scored. Build on what the Warriors have started, but stay based in reality. Just my opinion. :) 

Newton has the players to totally dominate this game, but will they. Newton played pretty sloppy ball against Warren and had several turnovers. Can't do that against Kirbyville. That being said, Newton wins by 28+. Kvillecats might have more insight, if he comes out of hiding!!!  ;D ;D ;D

Has anyone seen Kvillecats? Should there be a search organized for locating him? He could be in some terrible predicament and need help swallowing all that stuff he has been spewing. ;D ;D ;D
