1-Buna 2-Newton 3- EC or Anahuac
Buna is big and playing some good football, but Newton is far and away a different team than Buna has seen the last couple years. Newton will win district and Buna and Anahuac will fight for second and third. :)

What numbers did Buna turn in last year?  Don't those numbers have something to do with this years figures also?  Or is the 480 what their 2 year average is?  Too many questions for an early morning.  Only question I should have is how will Buna handle the Twine's from Hemphill this coming Friday night.....
The only numbers that count is what is turned in on snapshot day, I believe in October. UIL uses that days report of numbers only. It has nothing to do with last year. These numbers are only used once every two years by the UIL and only on that one day state wide.

Kirbyville is improving which will be good when district starts, but I don't think they are quite up to BC just yet. A few too many weak spots right now.  BC 32 Kirbyville 18.

ChampionEagle i believe the score gonna be closer than that.

I'm going on what I saw when Kirbyville played Newton. Kirbyville could get it together at any time, but there was more than one problem back then. Both sides of the ball need work.

Newton won last year in Newton 40-26. The field goal with time running out was the year before in Silsbee. As for this being a no brainer, I and my wife both believe Newton will come out of Silsbee with a win.

They better not have 8 fumbles this week... Lol
Now kcat-fan, if I had posted something (oops, I hope"Vidor by a lot" doesn't qualify) like this, you and a couple other know nothings would torch me with all kinds of mean, nasty, and untrue things written with venom about me. Now even though Kirbyville is gonna get drug behind the Pirate ship until they drown this week, I'm not going to say anything about your post here. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Newton will win this game against CC with ability, talent, and the support of a loyal fan base. Thanks for thinking of us. ;)

ps. I sure hope Kirbyville coaches started teaching fundamentals to everyone on the team this week and ya'll got that kind of thing fixed. :-\ 8)

    SGT REY'S CHRONICLE:

I'd first like to think back to 9/11/01...I was in Quantico, VA that beautiful morning....The first plane struck, I was in our S-3 shop...ran to the Colonel's office around the corner and made him aware of the incident.  At the time, we were unaware of this being an attack, but we did not rule anything out.

I was scheduled to depart that morning to DC (about 25 miles North of Quantico)...I jumped in my vehicle and left...I decided to search for a radio station that was covering the news from NYC...then I heard another plane had hit!....I thought to myself...this is no accident...I called my wife, who was working in Woodbridge, VA and told her to pick up the kids and go home...to wait in the basement.  I continued up I-95 and then it stopped...the traffic on the radio was uncertain...I don't recall the station, but he said "I'm getting reports that there is another plane crash BUT in Washington DC!....I am being told that a 3rd plane has crashed...into the Pentagon!"...
The traffic on I-95 stopped.....I believe we all sat in shock for a bit.

Our Country changed for ever....we began to recognize life as a blessing...people united and help for one another was generously given.  Men and women sacrificed there lives....heroic stories were being multiplied by the minute that day of September 11th 2001....

This is a little deep for Soulja's Saturday Morning Headlines.....but ur reading Sgt Rey's Chronicle BUTCH's and I say...take a minute to remember not to take life for granite and a moment of silence for our brothers/heroes who lost their life and to the families/friends who lost loves one on 9/11.....we say to you:

    [move]WE REMEMBER[/move]

Outstanding post! I couldn't agree more!
  9. BigWildcat11 if you will read all my post you will see that the only thing I did was respond to my friend rykerx with a little jabbing, nothing too bad. What I did do was call out your kville68 and Kvillecats for talking about your very own Kirbyville teams. If this makes me Tarzan they must be Cheeta. They were the ones talking about moving ALL the talent from JV, and I responded, and they also posted about your coaches not teaching fundamentals to everyone, and again I responded. These to me were insane statements from people that call themselves fans. Then you jump on here and go to spouting about me and beating my chest. If you will go back and read the JV game post as well as the original Newton-Kirbyville thread and the game thread it will become obvious who said what. Now the kcat-fan post about the o-line I think is dead on for the Kirbyville bunch. Young, replacing a bunch and learning. That's how you get better.  Playing with no quit is still continuing at Kirbyville. There again this is a good thing. Give the coach a chance. And if you want to continue to blame me for defending your very own coaches and players, blame away cause it ain't gonna change.

What I would like to see is some off tackle plays. I bet that would work for 'em.
I think the running and passing game just needs the O-line to get get better....sounded like they're improving. Moving Red around from QB to RB to WR to DB is truely getting helping. Is Jacko ok?
Thanks for making my point .... such class .... Tarzan
I've been in Austin and (yawn) missed reading a bunch of these post. This one is the most intelligent thing I have seen a Kirbyville poster say. Exactly right. As for BigWildcat11, Kvillecats, and kville68 they are bound to be clones of one "fan" that try to be real good at dishing out insults that make absolutely no sense about things THEY posted. I didn't start anything about class, chest beating, coaches not teaching fundamentals, or running off tackle. I did point out the fallacies of their thinking in my opinion. Kirbyville has a lot of good, loyal fans. These three just don't happen to be amongst them. 8)

Jane!!! Hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha! You can go back and get your wife to read you what was posted by the group I mentioned and maybe you can get someone to explain to you what ya'll said.

I told myself I wasn't going to do this, but, what game were you at? Kirbyville did run some off tackle plays, there just wasn't anywhere to run. You also said that the coaches had not taught any fundamentals to anyone but the stars. What an insane thing to say. You think they line up at practice and say "Ok stars over here, and everyone else over there"? Talent level is down in Kirbyville this year no doubt, but your blind backseat driving of the current coaching staff is the most hideous possible by any "fan". Ya'll could bring Alverez back and it wouldn't change. Newton will be loaded the next few years as the 58-8 score on JV tells you. Get ready. And I am acknowledging your "superior" football knowledge for what it is worth. :o
