We as fans of Kirbyville and Newton can talk about each other, but don't much like other people talking about either one of us. I think Kirbyville will tend to business. They may not have a state championship trophy, but they definitely have a winning program that is capable of beating anyone in the state, including Arp, like last year. Just stand in line and wait your turn uknowit2. They'll get to you.

I know enough about a few(not all by no means) Daingerfield fans that have NO class whatso ever as they threw basketballs onto the field at the end of the game last year with Newton after they had narrowly escaped defeat. They went on to win state and deserved it, but those few fans made me a little less happy for them.

Kirbyville should take this one, but don't discount Corrigan too much. They have atheletes and a history to go with them. From this point on it's all about peaking at the right time. Kirbyville needs to go and play hard towards this goal. Getting better each and every week. Kirbyville should win by two touchdowns if they tend to business this way. Then march towards a state championship week by week. Take it to 'em cats! Also congrats to Bubba Bean on his election to high school hall of fame. I cheered loudly Friday night for him at half time. Great player that I had the honor of playing against, and losing to.

Newton plays Thursday night in Groveton at 7:30. Bennett is in a holding pattern until Doc gives ok. He has a deep kidney bruise.

Mona Barbay said he has a deep Kidney bruise. No contact until he sees the doctor again. I don't know when that will be.

Aww gee, I really am sorry that I have posted all those lies about Kirbyville and made up all those things about Newton. You have really made me see the light. I forgot that Kirbyville invented winning football, and know all there is to possibly know about what it takes to have a winning program. No we didn't as you know. And you see what happened. I hope Bennett is not injured for life but we will really miss him in the playoffs. My concern all along. Kirbyville won. I still wonder where ya'll put those state championship trophies ya'll haven't won. You can crow about beating Newton all you want, you still have nothing but a local award. Good luck in the playoffs and maybe you can win the big one this year.

And now to all those that called me idiot and said I didn't have any football sense, I along with coach Barbay, want to win the game Friday night, but "will not go home and hang myself". if Newton loses. The game is not that kind of must win situation for Kirbyville or Newton. Get ready for the playoffs and be healthy is more important.

We know Newton have a explosive offense with speedy #11 in the backfield, but Kirbyville defense in my opinion is more stout than last year especially up front.
