I for the life of me can't remember where Penny Hall went to high school!! Help!!???!!!!

They are with UIL and I have heard it's been awful. 

UThorns98 -- you are right on the money!!!! I agree 200% with everything you said about Harrell. In my humble opinion -- he is the man for the job.

I could be wrong and I am sure someone will tell me or maybe they have already said it on here but I thought Wells had been at LCM before.... He was all about strength training and really gung-ho with the kids. Great guy!!! Like I said before and will say again -- we have a great list of applicants. Not sure if some of these guys applied when we got the BOJO yoyo but I sure hope our committee takes a hard look at these guys and gets us a football coach that knows how to build our program up. Lots of excitement in the Bear community about our possibilities!!!! Everyone is talking about all the good that will come from certain people. We need a strong leader, motivator, and someone who will stay around the Bear cave when things get tough. We are in one of the toughest area's for high school football and every game is a battle. It will be foolish to think one of these guys will come in and lead us to a 10-0 season. But if he can get the kids out, playing hard football and showing us some heart -- the Bear family will be happy!!! Of course, a victory on Friday night would be super nice!!!! (Not sure how we would re-act at first !)

Don't remember Scotty. But I have slept since the "good Ole" days!!! I think we have a great list of possibilities!!! I just hope of committee gets a person with a backbone and someone who won't bow to admin. No yes man. I am pumped at the idea of some of these men coming in and showing what can be done with the athletes at LCM!!! Parents will have to let them do their jobs and toughen the kids up. Expectations are very high for whoever gets the job!!!!

I am all for Jeff Harrell. I was at LCM when he was here with Barry Norton and the Rodney Russell gang. Great coach - lots of discipline - knows football and is in it for the love. Not knocking the others but I would love to see Harrell become AD!!!! I think he could get things turned around for LCM.

I am taking a page from Larry and signing off on this post. rtdirish -- that was just plain tacky. Don't knock what MMS has done or what Burke has done. You weren't there and you have no clue. You bash those kids and coaches who probably busted their tails more than you ever could. I hope LCM finds who they are looking for and I hope this person has tough skin. I like Burke and some of the others who's names have been listed. Wish them all the best. But I want no part in personally attacking the football players of Mauriceville or LC or making fun. WOS was proven before Crouch went there. Explain why he is the best man for the job. And further more -- WOS is KNOWN for the defense!!!

Parents will always find an excuse why their darlings didn't play or why they fumbled. LCM has more than their share of finger-pointers. Whoever gets the job has to have tough skin. I am at the point of hire Burke because he has shown his dedication and love for the school. He runs his small school with success. Now, high school will be a challenge. But if he thinks he can handle -- why not. We went outside with Moody. Not good. Crouch would not be bad either if WOS lets go of him. You could put Nick Sabin in there and someone would find fault with it all. Can't make some people happy no matter what you do or who you hire. Does anyone know details?? When are they posting, Whoelse is interested???

I too know LB very well and agree with him!!! He knows his football!!!! We will see how this plays out. I think the idea about the businessmen committee was looney!!! I hope our district will look at all candidates and do what they feel is a right fit and who will work hard for our BEARS!!!!!!!! Pick someone who will stay for the long haul, knowing that coming in will be an uphill battle because of the challenges left by Moody. I know Burke too - I think he could do the AD job..... got faith ellison!!!

bellsion1 -- I am too a graduate from LCM. I love my Bears & Panthers!!! I see exactly what your saying. But I also have stated before -- we got the "qualified" guy who you stated was not a fit for LCM. Could not agree with you more on that!!!!! But my point is -- Burke is a good fit for MMS. Why not give it a shot?? I am telling you -- it is a hornets nest at the high school because of Moody. I agree when I think it was you -- said we need a house cleaning up there. I see what your saying about hiring a intern -- I would not like it one bit but I also have been surprised at some people I have doubted in their abilities!! I think this could be the case.

Good point Tigersvoice!! From what I understand, he has been at the Middle school so long because he enjoyed it but is wanting more now. He did have chance with Moody but choose to stay down due to the mess going on at high school. Can't say I blame him. They were changing coaches faster than some change their unders!!!! I think he has been waiting for the right time to go up and make a difference.
