[/quote] However, The Woodlands came in with a 9-0 record as opposed to the 1-8 record sported by Conroe with their only win against Atascocita.  Have you seen Conroe this year?  They had their own fans stating publicly that they could do a better job than the coaching staff.  Modesty may not be a strong point in The Woodlands, but that is the Courier throwing their own team under the bus.  The people in Conroe want a change and the Courier stated their displeasure with the direction of the team.

Cedar Park was the only school to knock off Round Rock Stony Point during the regular season last year.  They are dangerous as a 4A school.

Whoever Anahuac plays first.

Anahuac better be ready after beating them 55-0 last year.  They will be ready to play; lot of bad blood between the two.

Everything New Waverly gets, they deserve (the decision makers.)  It is a shame for the student-athletes. 

What is "reffing?"  Do you mean officiating?

It is very hard to swallow knowing what Hemphill once was (Leon Maxie, Ben Wilkerson, and others.)  These things tend to occur in cycles.

Good game, Buna.  I would have to say that I did not expect this outcome.  Let me get this straight...East Chambers and if Anahuac wins next week against Hardin, will put these teams for a tie (Co-District Champions) with the #1 seed going to EC?

Dear wouldsmith, Although you have the right to post on this forum, I feel that I am speaking for EVERYONE on this site by saying, "Please find someplace else to air your opinions.  Nobody wants to listen to you."  Sincerely, Cowboys Great job EC.  Anahuac has to put it behind them quickly; another tough one next week against Woodville.

Somebody PLEASE kill this thread.  The only thing that will make it worse is if somebody mentions Kirbyville in a negative light. 

Another tough 10-2A match-up next Friday at Kyle White Stadium in Anahuac.  I'll take the Panthers in a close one...28-21.
