So a pee-wee bust max weight they can move up to Jr for that year unlimited. Obviously it is to allow players to play as close as they can to their age group. What is wrong with that rule?

I don't know what happened to get your hackles all up but I hope you get your chance to back up this talk come the playoffs. I don't think you will considering the size difference in the schools but I can promise you it wouldn't be near as EASY as you would like to believe. We at the HILL ain't as bad as everyone thought we would be. PNG played it's tail off to beat us and deservedly so. I think that's a pretty good team you are messin with so good luck. You get 'em Steele, the boy don't know what he's talking about, I said it after L-Town played ya'll, BH at that time was the best 0-2 team in Southeast Texas and I personally think if you guys don't put away Dayton, you will at least be 2nd in your district. As far as LCM, I'm betting they will beat Nederland just like Ozen did. Before the L-train start in on the MCM fun they need to at have a 10 win season and make the playoffs 12 out 14 years. L-train has a long way to go. Get back with us in 7 more years.

I said it was a stretch, I have to look past this Friday. It could be a long night. I do believe Nuemann and the coaching staff will prepare the dogs well, have them ready. Just not sure if it is enough with our QB situation. Just being honest with everything I posted. The PNG fans sound like Cowboy fans, you think with your heart.

Good post. And you are right, if a team does not play all of their kids because they are not as good as their starters and the other team is doing that, then you are at a disadvantage. We used to refer to the kids as MPR players. So, if WOS played those players who knows if the outcome would be the same. Maybe but maybe not. I also agree that WOS is class and all the coaches are stand up guys. Good luck to all.

Ok, I predicted this one most likely goes to PNG this year and the Dogs take it for the next 10. I know it is a stretch. but know the talent we have coming up is promising, more than other years. I do not care what Linch does or cates does. It does not matter, we have tons of talent and depth. The last 3 years we have had no dpeth. We have players that can make difference. You take Tyler next year with the sophmores and freshman this year we will be strong. The Carson, the Freshman QB this year will take over as JR when Tyler leaves, it will be back to the late 90's and I do not see PNG having the players to dominate MCM. I am sure PNG will be good, I hope they are, that what make MCM better than ever. So what if Lynch plays to win, dont we all. I all have to say if you are not on the field step up work harder, take someones job. Thats what is wrong right now, we are not tough enough. Get tough play hard. We have a lot of younger kids that will do that!

Yes, we know about the 7th grader you are referring about. He came through our youth football program, the only thing there is about 20 more just like him... the future is bright. Enjoy this Friday it maybe 10 years before you get another MCM victory.

I did not realize how much meant to the Ozen faithful to be Nederland. You would think yall just won the state championship or someting. I guess yall feel that way since we knocked the panther out of the playoffs so many times. By the way, good game to the panther players. A win is a win and they dont come easy.

Before last week, would say it is a toss up. Now, Indians most likely win this one and it could be by a wide margin. No excuses but with injuries QB's and secondary, we are in trouble. I hear forney may be done for the season. Maybe will bring up some underclassmen to help. A lot of depth down there. As always it will be a great atmosphere and all the players will play hard.

Whats the big deal about being scheduled on someones homecoming? Its a game that has to played at some point. Nederalnd looked bad, played bad, and Ozen did not look very good! They just beat a team that is sub-par and beat up with injuries. Don't make excuses. Give Ozen their props and keep it moving. Injuries are a part of the game. I am givng props... There is a lot of nice things being said, which is great. But the cherry on the top with this rivalary is when both sides can say "we are going to whip you tail all night long". Unfortunately it is not the case this year. Pulling for the dogs, but will have to wait til next year for MCM victory.

Stats or one thing watching the game and seeing is another OZEN is not very good. Both teams offense is horrible. Nederland Defense has been shredded in previous games this year and if Ozen was a good team, they should have put 30 plus points. I see a long season for both teams.
