The Nederland Sr game was a really hard fought game. Agreed, much closer than score. The game was not decided until the middle of the 4th qtr. Congrats to both teams for a great year. The talent on both teams will be are top notch, cant wait until they get together in HS.

I saw that in the second round there are 2 Lumberton teams that play each other, 2 WOS Jr teams play each other and 2 Nederland Sr teams play each. Sr Division - Lumberton White vs WOS Blue Sr Divisoin - Nederland Black vs Nederland White

I agree let it go! Most of the talk is not accurate more rumors get spread. Find out the FACTS and try to be part of the solution. The STJFL is about to start their playoffs and it should be a time for the kids to enjoy the end of the season.

I talked to league officials and they said each association received a copy prior to the season and it is not in the "football rules" nor the by-laws. Every city that plays in the league recieved it, contact you local leadership, they have the document.

depends on which division. Sr division has 2 divisions, top 4 in each go. the seeding is #1 seed plays #4 seedn in the opposite division, etc. Jr & Pee-wee, the top 2 in each division qualifies. All division winners are 1, 2, & 3, seed, division runner ups are 4, 5, & 6 seed. The seeding rules for the division winners are best record in their division. The runner ups is the same, to break a 3 way tie after that it gets down to pints allowed then eventually a coin flip. Wild cards for Jr & PW are the best overall records in any 3 divisions, with head to head, points allowed, and coin flip being tie-breakers. thats the way I understand it.

Grogan reminds me of Jerry Ball from WB in the early 80's. Grogran is definaltey in the top 3 in the area, if not tops. you have to seen him run against CE king, then you would be a believer.

In the Sr division, division games only count. Non divisions games are like pre-season they count for anything. You have to finish in the top 4 out of 8 team witihin you division. No different than HS football and district. Correct?

The playoff qaulification should not get to points, since the tie-breaker in front of points allowed is winning perecentage. It is what the Big 12 uses. Not all teams play the same amount of games, so they use winning percentage.

Understand about the scoreboard. A lot folks were wondering, such a nice stadium.

Thats what always amazed me about PNG and Nederland, when playoffs start we become like one city "Mid-County". When they are in and Nederland is out, you see purple, white, black and gold. Last night was not any different, thanks for PNG fan support. I guess tradition and respect for each other shows.

Great job dogs! Tyler smith looked great as well as the other underclassmen that were brought up from the JV. Key drive Tyler looked like he has played on Friday night all year. Great Job to the entire team and coaches.

My money is on Nederland Sr Black, but WOS Blue could have somethng to say about that. Two talented teams, rematch from week 4.
