For someone who says they have seen Kirbyville play several times and not know who Musgrove is...makes me wonder if you really seen Kville play. Not only is this kid awesome in CF, but yes he used to pitch..and may I say when he did pitch, not many could touch him. Kid has an AWESOME ARM!!!!! Never understood why he quit pitching though! I just think its hilarious that we beat Buna considering how much trash Buna talked in preseason...sometimes Carma comes back to bite ya!!! ;D ;D ;D When did they get phone service in Buna? ;D

Kirbyville is a good team...and you got beat!!! Plain and simple. I love it! I read all the trash talk in pre-season how it would only be in a dreamworld for kville to beat ALMIGHTY BUNA...well guess what...this is REALITY and we did beat ya'll...hahahahahaha!!!! Never count out those Wildcats!!! This is a new year and some of the players have even gone to private coaching to help out. I know some are in Sam Moore's program over in Bridge City. So you never know..Wildcats just might surprise you all!!!

Heck yea...I would love for our boys to play in this district. Too bad it wasnt this year.

He hasnt played in awhile, but for Hazelwood, I'm sure its like riding a bike. Hes a great baseball player along with Musgrove. Both will be key players for Kville's baseball team. Hopefully Aaron will play!!! I do know however, that Musgrove has had several looking at him for baseball!!!

I'm glad he pulled his name from LCM..I dont think hes through with Kirbyville just yet. He also stated that we have some good kids coming up and I think Kirbyville will do good next year. Hopefully Kirbyville can keep him a few more years.

Well, throw Kirbyville into the mix. Do you want to go to Anahuac and East Chambers on a cold January Tuesday night? Well, honestly Kirbyville has been traveling for quite some time.. this wouldnt be the first time for Kirbyville to travel. Same could go for Anahuac and EC I guess.lol..do they really want to come to kville?

Why would kirbyville move back into 3A? We just got moved down to 2A. Just curious..I'm sure our numbers have not increased that much for us to have get moved again. At least for the next year. They dint realign for another year.

Funny you say that, beings that both boys and girls take district every year. I dont know much about Team tennis, didnt have that when I played, but I can tell you yes the girls have always been strong, but so have the boys. You dont take district for that many years on both sides..(boys and girls, singles and doubles)!!! Kirbyville Dominates!!!

Never Know!!! We have a several players coming back this year that are good ball players..watch out for HUGHES, HAZELWOOD, MUSGROVE, ESCAGNE, and many more!!! Just wait and see!!!

After watching anahuac play this year, I think they will be the team to beat AGAIN!!! Coach Barbay doing a great job over there! Go Panthers..lol

I know a few VERY good coaches/AD that wanted to apply but didnt just for that reason..to political. Sad too, because these men are awesome at what they do.

I can respond to your question..as for as the other sports in kville..the Varsity Girls Volleyball were District Champs this year, basketball and baseball are ok..just very young, and Varsity Tennis has dominated District every year. Tennis in Kirbyville is WELL KNOWN around the state if you know what I mean! Football is not the only sport in Kirbyville. Dont forget Softball was huge a few years back..State Champs!!! So Alvarez cares about all sports, yes hes a FOOTBALL GUY, but he truly looks out for everyone.

Wasnt this suppose to be a thread about LCM AD/HC???????? Just curious since the last 3 pages have been nothing but about PNG. We are ALLLLL sick of hearing about PNG. Go to your own thread!!!! You have several to choose from. I dont think anyone will get fired for applying, they may feel some tension, but not fired!!! jmo

IMO...Alvarez can go to any level and coach. It has nothing to do with the size of the school..honestly..thats just more kids to choose from. He's use to having to go to the same kids that play both sides of the ball..in a larger school, this shouldnt happen. And Alvarez hasnt always coached a 2A team as some are implying. Kville was a 3A school up until this last year. So 5A shouldnt be a prob for him. What turns a program around is believing in your coach. And kids, community of Kirbyville definetely support and believe in Alvarez. He came in when we were just a horrible team, and turned us into State Finalists. Believe what you want, but He's the man for the job at any level!!! He will be greatly missed if he leaves, but I'm sure Kirbyville will find someone just as good to take his spot...hint hint...***BARBAY***...wishful thinking at least!!!
