I agree..way too many turnovers last night. At this point in the game we should have been sharper. I'm not sure what was going on, but our kids have played better than that. Maybe they just thought it would be an easier game than it was. Just goes to show you, you gotta play one game at a time!!! They are too eager to play next weeks game and were getting ahead of themselves. Plus we lost a key player in the 1st quarter..that hurts a teams confidence a little!!! They dont like to see him on the sidelines nor do we!!! Come next week we will have to play A WHOLE LOT BETTER to beat ARP!!!! Thats for sure!!!

yea one with separated shoulder and one with torn acl and they said probably other tendons 2 Key players!!!! Ervine is an awesome defensive player. We definetely didnt need him hurt going into next weeks game, nor Musgrove. Thats one thing we've been lucky about..is having healthy players and now tonight..key players injured. However, when one is hurt, there's always another who will step up and play hard. Thats what makes this team so dynamic this year! Best Wishes For Your Injured Players, Don't Know These Players Personally, But I Bet Their Tough Enough To Work And Bounce Back As Good As New. From what I've heard..Ervine is out. He tore his ACL or at least thats the rumor, I know its a knee and tendon/ligament injury, so he wont be back for next weeks game which is hard to imagine!!! Musgrove will likely be back. He is tough and I can see him possibly coming out playing next week. I pray for a quick healing for both of these young men. 2 excellent athletes.

Dont worry...we'll be there! We'll just show up early. Kville fans know how to work around those problems...lol Just ask your gate people..lol we were there at 4pm for our game against you guys..LOL We knew if we wanted a seat in the stands we best be there early!! We dont like standing on the fence if you know what I mean! We wouldnt miss this game..as much as EC has been talking...no way!! Gotta see this in person. And I want to support a great team!!! it just depends on what poll your looking at! Most polls have Kville #1 and Arp 2nd or 3rd, but the AP poll has Arp #1 and Kville #2. Which one..I just looked and it says Arp is at#4 under Muleshoe..can you send me the link? The one I am looking at is the one thats on the 2A website (txhssn.com) I know Campbells poll shows us at 1, but I havent seen Arp at 1 in awhile..Refugio has been at 1 for the last several weeks. So I was just curious as to what happened.

So I have a question...When did ARP move back into #1 spot? I saw that Coop posted that we would be playing #1 Arp or Jefferson..I thought Arp was #3 and Refugio was #1. Am I missing something?

That is no lie..if he would have had some better blocking...dang...he would have been GONE!!!! That kid has some sick speed!!!! You guys were def right about that kid. He is fast. Has he committed to anywhere? It would be ashame to let that kind of talent get past!

You know..on here its all a bunch of talk...but it all comes down to those athletes on the field. They deserve respect and they will get it from kville fans no doubt. The kville athletes have great sportsmanship and I hope that they continue to behave in that manner. They represent our community and I am so proud of them. Kuddos to Anahuac also. They are a great team and your community should be proud!! Wow I can only imagine what they will look like next year!!! Look forward to seeing you guys in the playoffs next year!!! the call on the field was that a anahuac player touched the ball first and knocked it into the kirbyville player,,, im not sure if it happened that way but thats what they called. But I can assure it was not the only blown call tonite. I saw the play and the Panther Player first touched the ball on the Anahuac 49 yard line and then the Wildcat Player touched it. The ball Didn't travel the ten yards required and was downed at the spot Anahuac first touched it. Thanks for coming out to support us Newtonjb!!! Appreciate that! Go Eagles..win tomorrow. We'll be there to cheer ya'll on.

Musgrove didnt play but maybe 2minutes of the ballgame. He got hurt in the first quarter in the first 2 minutes. We are all praying for his return against ARP as well as Ervine. I know that Ervine will not be returning for the Arp game though. He was hurt pretty badly. Hated to see either of these young men on our sidelines tonight. They are KEY players!!! Hoping for quick healing!!!

Awesome post Champ!!! You are definetely right by saying that Kville fans and players are very hungry for that title this year. We are taking it game by game..and the kids are doing a great job. They are very level headed and know what they have to do. The boys want this more than anybody and they will do whatever it takes to get there.
