i had recently heard that he was just 17 and was curious about being a Senior. Often you hear of Seniors being older after having an extra year in the early grades. Good for him and the best of luck on his future in basketball. Don't let him worry about the letters....he will get his chance.

i would think the biggest reward for this game being played at a larger site would be getting inside the door to actually watch the game. Especially for anyone that had to leave work early or not go to work at all just to have the opportunity to watch their team play. It drove me crazy not making it to the game in Silsbee last year. Although I was thankful that I could listen to the game, I would have much rather have been inside watching it. I made sure to be at HJ to get in line at 3:00.

Martel from HJ just recovered a fumble from EC. One player from EC was hurt during the opening kickoff. Hoping he is ok.

HJ had 2 interceptions in the 1st. They also had 2 snap problems on Firld Goal attempts. Martel just intercepted at the 10 min mark in the 2nd
