1. I hear the line is wrapped around the building to get in..... mostly red too....
2. Wow... lead the whole game then give it back.  I guess that is why they say there are 4 quarters in the game.
3. This is a big win for Lamar 80 to 63
4. 60 to 73 Lamar 2:36 left
5. It was just a joke.... lighten up. I am not spinning it anyway. The fact is..... they did make the list.
6. I see where Dayton High School made the state's worst school list.  A list that have school that 50% of the kids that take the taks test fail.  50%.....  wow, maybe football should not be your biggest concern at this point.  "The list, which was released Tuesday, includes schools in which 50 percent or less of the students pass a TAKS test during any two of the past three years. The Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills measures student performance in reading, writing, math, social studies and science. Schools that have been rated academically unacceptable at least one of the last three years also are included on the list. Once a school is on the list, parents can apply to transfer their child to another higher-performing campus in the same district or in another school district. The other district does not necessarily have to accept the student's application. Maybe Crosby will pick up a few players that transfer????? LOL
7.

Agree.... Odds are... Central and PN-G won by a combined 28 points.  I could easily see Crosby and or Dayton winning today by at least that amount.  The #3 and #4 seeds of 19-4A gave the #1 and #2 seeds of 20-4A all they could handle.
OK.. let me see if I can get this right.  You want to make it sound like 19-4A is the stronger district.  Crosby beat you by how many?  PNG beat Crosby by how many?  You know... I sit here and read all of these post by the folks across the Trinty River.  They spend a lot of time on here bashing out SETX Teams.  How bad there are, how weak their players are, how better their teams are.....  Well  the last time I checked, this was SETX Sports.  Do you live in Southeast Texas?  IE.. the Golden Triangle.  Maybe it is time you boys step up and make yourself a website.  That was you not have to waste your time hearing all of us SETX Teams cry.  How many other people in the Golden Triangle think I am right?
probably none.... SETX encompasses a much larger area than the GT. If you weren't so new to the board, you would have been privy to the many discussions about that topic that have been on this board. How about this... if you don't want to read what ALL southeast texas has to say about this area's football.... don't get on the site. Go look at a map and have a nice day. ;)
It is so funny that you are judged by how many post you have.  I have lived in SETX all of my life.  Born at Baptist Hosp in Bmt, 1969.  Lived in Orange Co until I was in the 5th grade.  Moved to Hardin, lived there every since.  I really do not need a map.  I KNOW the area.  I have followed sports in SETX, Southeast Texas, since I played back in the late 80's.  I have watched teams in Southeast Texas at all levels.  I really do not remember Dayton every even being talked about until you moved over here for a short time.  I have a number of freinds that live over across the Trinity.  When asked where do you live, I do not know one of them that would say, "I live in Southeast Texas."  I would think they would say I live in the Houston Area.  But who cares... that was not my point.   Now back to 19/20 4A,  my point is... it seems like everytime a 20 4A team wins, folks in a different district, that will only see us in the playoffs, have a comment, which is normally negitive.  My point was, why don't you boys from across the river start you a site so you do not have to waste your time on commenting on our weaker district.  When the playoffs come around, then come visit.    Oh and by the way, right now the score is 2-0, in favor of 20 4A.  Let's go priates and bulldogs, represent.  Either way, you will not have to hear any crow from me.

9.
How about a rematch for the Tigers?  Would the outcome be the same????   LCM by ten at least!!!
I do not think the rematch is what is making some folks mad.  It is the next statement..."Would the outcome be the same????  LCM by 10 at least"  That is bothering folks. If I am not mistaken.... you will get your rematch new year...
10.
So if Nederland loses against Lumberton (which they will not) we need Ozen to lose cause we would have the tie breaker cause we beat Vidor and Livingston, right?
No.. because Lumberton would have beaten you.  Also, Ozen would have to win to be included in the tie.  So, if Lumberton wins, Ozen wins and Livingston wins, it would be a 5 way tie.  It would go to the points after that.  There are way to many ways this could play out.  Vidor and Nederland hold the lead in points.  However, the last game would come into play.    OK... Let me try and break this down. If there is indeed a 5 way tie, Lumberton, Ozen  and Livingston would all have to win.  If either Lumberton or livingston, the team they lose to are in, ie Vidor or Nederland.  The points, before the last game stand at, if there is indeed a 16 point cut off: Vidor +15 Nederland +12 Lumberton -1 Livingston -10 Ozen -16 You have to remember though, for this tie to happen, all 3 of the bottom teams listed would have to win, so the final game would change the list above. ie.. If Lumberton wins by 7, you would have to add 7 points to the -1 which would bring them up to +6.  You would also have to take away the same 7 from Nederland, which sits at +12.  Now, They would sit at +5, and be behind Lumberton. The reason why it is impossible to come up with every possilbe finish, is because you have no way to know what the final score will be in these 3 games.  I am sure that is clear as mud now.
11. Well, if that is indeed the case.   Lumberton would need to beat Nederland by 7 to go. Livingston would need to win by 14. The last game would count. In a 5 way tie... Vidor Nederland Lumberton (unless they beat Nederland by 7) Of couse here is where it gets interesting... If Vidor losses by 16 or more, Lumberton beats Nederland by 15 and Ozen win by at least 16... Then Lumberton would go in the 3rd spot Ozen in the 4th.
12. Ok.... If indeed there is a 16 point max on a win or a loss.. Here is how I have the points breakdown if there were indeed a 5 way tie. Vidor- +14 Lumberton- -17 Nederland- -24 Livingston- -29 Ozen- -49 Vidor would go in the 3rd spot Lumberton would go in the 4th spot.
13. 20-4A  Ovr.   Dist.   Team(ADM) W L                W L x-Port Neches-Groves(1413) 8 0 6 0 x-Central(1537) 7 1 5 1 Vidor(1430) 6 2 3 3 Nederland(1512) 3 5 3 3 Ozen(1264) 3 5 2 4 Lumberton(1064.5) 4 4 2 4 Livingston(1207) 3 5 2 4 Little Cypress-Mauriceville(1200) 3 5 1 5 OK... let me try this....  Now I am no expert.... so feel free to make any corrections... I believe these to be the easy way for each team to get in. Vidor Wins... they are in. Nederland Wins... they are in. Lumberton Wins.... they need Ozen to lose.  They are in Ozen Wins....they need Lumberton to win and Vidor to win. Livingston Wins... they need Lumberton to lose. Now.... there are about 10 more ways this thing could pan out.... but this is the simple way a team can get in.   I am even close?
