Mark Foreman's mother and Toby Foreman's grandmother passed away yesterday.  For anyone who knew Mary Foreman, knew how special and funny she was.  She will be missed!

[/quote] Oh yeah I know Coldspring has some monsters!!  What is sad is the Buna had more kids on the sidelines than OF and from what I saw had only a few going both ways.  The numbers are hurting OF by forcing to many kids to have to go both ways!!

The key to the game was the OF fumble on the first drive of the 3rd quarter.  Buna is big and physical, where did those boys come from?  They may be the biggest team OF faces all season!  Another fun game in this series.  Best of luck to the Cougars this season.  I hope they go on and win district!

Overall I think it was about what you would expect for a 1st scrimmage.  Both teams defenses look good at times.  I really liked what I saw from Orangefield's #67 Jake Best, he was in the Vidor backfield a few times before the QB could even hand the ball off.  He's going to be fun to watch this year!  Orangefield's offense has some work to do which we knew it would since they lost some quality guys from last year.  I'm not too concerned yet, last year in this scrimmage I don't think Orangefield got a first down but came on as the season progressed.  From what I saw, I don't think their were any injuries to either team.  Best of luck to the Pirates this season.

The few times I've seen them this year, they are far ahead of where they've been the past two seasons!

[/quote] I've heard this a few times and laugh each time, do some really think that Bennet built the OF baseball program!!  I like Bennett and have nothing against him, but OF was successful in baseball long before he got there.  Plus Bennet had alot more talent than previous coaches at OF!!!  I hope he does well at Kirbyville, but I'm looking forward to what Trawhon has to bring to the program!!

Why should they post it when they have someone more than qualified already on staff!

Does not matter much now, a coach has been choosen just waiting on approval from the school board.
