What an awesome event.  I really think this years team will benefit from listening to these guys.  Thanks to Coach Bennett and Coach Granger for getting this together.

[/quote] Yes it was Joe Hester.  Don't forget Jacob Davis who had vaulted 17'6 leading up to the state meet his senior year (1996) and hurt his knee during warmups.  He had consistly gone over 18' in practice leading into the state meet that year.

News had K-Park winning 46-41

There will be a 20 year anniversary recognition of the 1990 Orangefield State Tournament team this Saturday at 11 at Paul Cormier Field in Orangefield.  Most of the players on that team including Jeff Granger are expected to be in attendance.  There will also be a Meet the Bobcat recognizing this years team.  I believe plate lunches will be served with proceeds going to the baseball program. Big props to Coach Bennett and Coach Granger for getting this together.

OF won the first meeting by 8.  I expect this one to be just as close if not closer.  Should be a good game.
