  1. Orangefield only loses 3 seniors, I think!
  2. It has not been approved by the school board yet. They meet on Monday.
  3. Once Barbay retires, he has to be included in this list. Here are some of his numbers. They may be off some, but I'm sure WOS87 could correct them. Overall Record 284-86-6 Two State Championships 98,05 (One as the OC in 74) Playoff Record 38-28-2 5 Undefeated regual seasons 77,78,81,87,05 14 Ten win seasons 22 District Championships
  4. Congrats Kirby!!
  5. Don't know if I can say yet! It will be posted as soon as I get the word.
  6. Cavs win game 5 109-107! Cavs led 3-2 Lebron is simply amazing!!! 48 points tonight!
  7. I'll be there with my Orange and White on!!
  8. Sure hope you like Silver & Black Gabe!!
  9. Works for me, you'll look good in Black and Silver!
  10. I'll wear a PNG shirt to a Lady Bobcats game as long as the game is not against PNG!
  11. Nope, Cleveland is going to beat them!! After I send you your Spurs championship shirt, I expect you to wear it at some Lady Bobcat games!!
  12. Gabe after the Spurs win it all, I'm buying you a Spurs Championship shirt!!
  13. Brooks is a good one. I'm glad that Orangefield is scrimmaging Tarkington this year. I look forward to watching Brooks.
  14. Still probably have a couple more weeks before an announcement. Recently had two very qualified applicants apply. It will probably come down between those two.
  15. The annual Ed Peveto Crawfish Boil and fundraiser to benefit Orangefield High School athletes is set this Saturday May 26 at the Jewell Cromier Community Center in Orangefield. The fundraiser is held in honor of Peveto, a longtime athletic director, football coach and track coach at Orangefield. Scholarships are given annually to a female and male athlete at Orangefield. This years scholarship winners are Ben Ludwig and Alyssa DeRamus. Both received $4,000 scholarhips. There will be crawfish and a auction. If you have never been, there are some really good items in the auction. You will be surprised at some of the items auctioned off. Please get out and support this great cause.
  16. I did notice that it looked liked there were empty seats. That's very unusual for a Spurs playoff game.
  17. Ok guess I'll be the first to reply. I'm gonna be a homer, but I think we will be better this season than last. We lost Brett Ramsey who will be hard to replace, but Jared Helton will fill in nicely. He's not as big as Brett, but is faster. On offense we should be fine. I think we will be able to move the ball. On defense we have some holes to fill, but we have some very good underclassmen moving up to varsity that will fit in nicely. We will have a good mix of underclassmen and those with varsity experience. Look for a few sophomores to be on the varsity this year. We also have a good group of seniors who have been winners since Jr. High. It might take a few games, but by the time district starts we should be fine. The first district game against Silsbee should be another good one just like last year. If we can keep it close in the 4th, we will have a chance. I know most are picking us last in this district, but don't count out the Bobcats. We won't go down without a fight. Few breaks here and there and we are in the playoffs!!
  18. Congrats Brett, you won't find a better kid than him. Good Luck!!
