I have not heard her name mentioned as much lately as I did when the job first came open. I've been hearing Tidwell alot. We'll soon find out I guess.

I sure do wish Orangefield would drop to 2A, but I don't see that happening. We barely missed the cutoff last time, but I would guess our enrollment has increased since last realignment.

It's hard to say this early. Alot can change between now and next season. 1. Silsbee - The loss of Fowler will hurt, but Green is back and is probably the best player in the district next season. 2. Hardin Jefferson - Just about the whole team is back, plus a good JV group coming up. 3. Orangefield - Kaylin Little will need some help. If some of the younger players step up look for them to be in the hunt for the district championship. JV group only lost one district game this past season. 4. Bridge City - They may surprise some people next season. Most of the team is coming back. 5. Hamshire Fannett - Not sure what they have coming back, but they did lose their two best players to graduation. 6. WOS - Hartfield will need alot of help. I'm curious to see who the new coach will be. 7. Kirbyville - I may have them to low, but I really don't know who they have coming back. They did lose their best player! 8. Jasper - Give the coach a couple more years and he will have them competitive.

Why do they wait 20 years to say something about it? If they would have made him take it off after the first year he wore it, I would understand alot easier, but 20 years later!!!

21-3A will be down next year. There will still be some good teams, but from top to bottom the district will be down. Look for Silsbee and HJ to be the early frontrunners. OF will be in the hunt too.

WOW, 42 applicants. That surprises me, but that is great that there is that much interest in this job. Some good applicants. This may be a hard decision for Tubbs and Lamar.

I think Baytown Lee may drop to 4A with the new school in Baytown opening next year.

Let me tell you the one I've heard. Heard Kountze may move up to 3A! Have they gained that many students since last realignment? I know they are a large 2A, but did not know they were growing like that.
