  1. It's not even worth responding to him. His only purpose for being here is to troll.
  2. I hope they keep this up at least till the 2026 mid-terms.
  3. I was just surprised how much money we are throwing at schools. Makes a little more sense to me that 90% of my property tax is school tax.
  4. I commented on a post with this article and thought it deserved its own post. 2.1 BILLION would fund Texas schools 5 1/2 days.......... According to the lottery’s most recent annual report for fiscal year 2023, the majority of the revenue (about 67%) went toward paying out winners. About a quarter of the money (24.5%) went toward Texas education via the Foundation School Fund, which is roughly $2.1 billion. For more context, we went through Texas Education Agency data and found school funding for 2025 is expected to be more than $66 billion. With Texas schools required to provide 180 days of instruction per school year, a $2.1 billion contribution from the lottery would help the state cover roughly five-and-a-half days’ worth of funding. According to the Lottery Commission, the lotto has contributed a total of $31.8 billion to the Foundation School Fund since 1997.
  5. Well I researched my own question with a simple google search and WOW.......We are throwing A LOT of money at schools in Texas..... 6. This Lottery question always comes up. Anyone know if that is still a thing?
  7. It shouldn't under normal circumstances, but in typical Trump fashion he is making a statement perhaps to get an investigation going. Can he assign someone to use the pen or does he have to do it himself? This could also just be an excuse to investigate the investigators of Jan 6th......which I would be all for since the Republicans were hand picked Trump haters.
  8. If you like your Doctor, you can keep them.........
  9. Tesla employees around 124,000 American workers...... The reason (and I 1000% support it) Trump purchased the car is to send a message to the liberal lunatics that are vandalizing the Tesla Dealerships. A recent CNN poll found only 29% of registered Democrats view their party favorably, and an NBC poll found only 27% view their party favorably. It has not been that low since 1990.......Democrats are paving the way for a Republican super majority in 2026 and for JD Vance to landslide in 2028.....and we really appreciate it.
  10. yea....that's not going to stick......just a stall tactic.
  11. LOL - Obama had 8 years and Clinton had 8 years......IN. A. ROW......all Obama did was screw up our insurance. I agree we should fix the tax code - I want to pay less......you may not admit it, but you want to pay less too..... and if you were a billionaire - you would want to pay as little as possible too....it's human nature if your not an idiot. No one wants to give their money away and see it spent on stupid stuff,,,,, as for laying off government workers......needed to be done.
  12. And many with child tax credits get a refund 5 times what they pay in.....
  13. Not all liberals believe in capitalism, because "fettered capitalism" sounds a like like a dictatorship. Trump can do nothing but EO's without congress. The presidents checks are The House, The Senate and the Supreme Court. EO's can be challenged just like we are seeing in some cases. We survived 4 years of Biden's name and no telling who was running the country and holding the signature stamp on everything Biden was supposed to sign. If we survived that, we will survive trump trying to MAGA. Also......I'm far from rich.......but I'm not mad at anyone who makes money......and as far as I'm concerned, I don't care how much they make.......Elon's billions didn't take a dime from me,,,,,,,
  14. This topic is going to be gold in a few months when all this settles and the stock market continues to grow......
