The big picture is when the Iran conflict is over, fuel will get back in line and all these other things will drive the economy. I'm getting more comfortable that by August things will be in line and better than pre-Iran prices.

Why do we think he middle class is shrinking? I think maybe work ethics could be shrinking.... My son is 25 and will make over 100K this year, working from home for a company that sells software for restaurants to do to go orders......He does not have a college degree I got him a job in HVAC in the summers when he was 14 to "pay for his jeep" he wanted. At the end of his second summer he was able to install an AC and troubleshoot. He had a good teacher. Those HVAC independent guys make well over 100K after a couple years. If, and a big if the middle class is shrinking, its because people don't want to work hard enough or dedicate the time. IMO

My Father grew up poor living on a house boat and helping his Dad trap and shrimp for a living. He made a good life for himself but never forgot his childhood and never left me forget how comfortable I had it and to work hard to keep it.

I'm the poster child for middle class. You are so correct about the poverty level - our poor has it pretty good with Government housing with heat and ac.....at least compared to say Mexico's poor........at least they have an incentive to do better (starvation)

In my career and most careers, you are graded on performance and what you do to improve the "business" I grade my Presidents the same way. I grade on what they do for me/family (selfishly because my family comes before anything else) - them what they do for the Country. Despite his Oval office issues, Clinton gets good grades from me, he balanced the budget - Obama royally screwed up healthcare - and started the divide of the country with his big mouth and "beer summit" - So, he was worthless IMO. I gave two examples with mentioning current or previous President😎

Try and explain how the Iran war is about him? He could of easily ignored the threat, kept gas prices low, focused on redistricting and the mid-terms…..but he chose to take care of something other Presidents couldn’t.
