  1. Funny - My Dad INSISTED on that. He forbid me from going off campus after school to fight. He told he he would rather me fight in the principles office then take the chance of getting jumped.....PLUS, if you fight in the hall or classroom one time, that let the bully's know you are gonna fight and cause both of you to get in trouble.....
  2. Folks, all the talk and programs over the past 15-20 years and we still have bully's. Should we go back to facing our bully's? **this thought came from a Bridge City post trying to get everyone to change school because their kid was being bullied. **I'm not a big guy and was on the receiving end a few times, took me standing up for myself (not actually wining the fight) to be left alone.
  3. We agree on that - I just think it is impossible Presidents from both sides have wanted to do that with never enough support to make it happen
  4. While we have beat Massie to death.... He got in the way of Trumps agenda.... H.CON.RES 14 - only No vote by Republican Full year Appropriations Act(Gov. Funding) Sole Republican NO vote Big Beautiful Bill - No Vote Mike Johnson Speaker vote - only Republican NO vote, If your district elected Trump by a 36 point margin, you should be voting for the Republican bills that Trump supports - They are "representatives" of their peeps.
  5. If he can't get the support of his own district...... I really liked Perot.....
  6. There is absolutely nothing he can do except retire and continue to vote against Trump.....
  7. Fair points and I agree it could certainly go that way.... A lot of it has to do with the remaining term and what is accomplished. If Iran deal is made, prices drop for Mid-Terms and he focuses on lowering cost he may get Vance across the line - then let Vance work on Healthcare. With the very narrow majority in house and senate (one way or the other) - I see nothing of significance like healthcare happening in the next two years.
  8. As his Republican support plummets....lol He just took out a 7 term 14 year senator......He was 3 for 3 last night. You are going to be very disappointed if you don't stop reading what you only agree with.....
  9. Sit back and relax - There is lots of investigations gong on at the moment......
  10. That was, as most things are, taken out of context. The white house later reported he was talking about reducing fraud and shifting responsibilities to the states, not ending Medicare or Medicaid. I have no problem with that - all the fraud being discovered in Child care and the 14 billion in healthcare fraud....something needs to be done.
  11. Conservatively, I think Trump will keep House or Senate - worst case, Democrats gets both with a very small majority that keeps them in check to not do something stupid. Trump lames out last 2 years and Democrats push to impeach but will not have enough votes to do anything..... So, 2028 - what do you think about Vance?
  12. Spin it how you want, but apparently his constituents though differently by a large margin. He didn't lose by a little, he got his butt kicked by almost 10 points....
  13. Massie just lost….. Trump still has a massive amount of power with his base. The media has been betting against Trump for a long time and losing
  14. A couple things we agree on - if I don't get deer sausage from my brother - it's always market basket Also, I've never been a big boudin fan, but someone had me try their smoked brisket boudin and it was AMAZING.
  15. That was a staple in my house growing up and currently. I add deer sausage:)
