  1. As I predicted, so far, more Democrats effected than Republicans…….or Trump And so far, I see no “relief” for the victims
  2. Why is everything compared to the one black President? Are you going to bring up the Brown suit next? Why didn’t you say what if “Bill Clinton” said it…..that may be a bad example since he committed adultery in the oval office with a girl over half his age…… and honestly, Obama ONLY won because of the white vote….PERIOD. His level of criticism is not even in the same atmosphere as what Trump has had to deal with….and being we now know Obama sabotaged Trump in first term, I consider him to be scum and to my knowledge the first President to do something like that.
  3. He has made these comments his entire life, so I’m not sure why you are surprised. In your opinion @Big girl, is calling someone piggy worse than calling someone a Nazi?
  4. No idea - but I think that should be changed,,,,You're social security is just returning the money you paid in .
  5. I went to the store (wal-mart) the other day and got a bag of dog food ($50), 2 different dog treats, gallon of tea, 4 cucumbers, salad dressing, a couple other things I can't remember and it was $130...... In my head I was thinking $80 - not counting dog food, there were only 4 small bags........ That was not a warm and fuzzy feeling
  6. I don't see that happening for a long time. I think a 4.5-5% Mortgage is affordable and possible. Lower is always better BUT, it also gets people to buy a more expensive house because they can afford the note.....Often, what they find is a bigger home is a higher tax bill, higher insurance bill, higher utility bills and higher repair and replacement cost. That big house you got on a "deal" in 20 years will cost you 25K to replace the roof versus 10K or less for a more modern house. These are things Dad preached to me about when I thought I knew everything.....LOL
  7. I feel the things he has put into place will start being felt next year. I believe he will get the 2K tariff stimulus out - lower the prime another .50 - that should put Mortgage rates under 6%, which will get people to start selling there homes......
  8. Welcome to the jungle!
  9. I believe those polls.... He better have a good plan for 2026.....
  10. That entire explanation sounds like an episode of Justified..... That has to be 4 of the dumbest people around.
  11. This is what happens when you have TDS…..you take to heart anything negative about Trump
  12. Why didn’t they just get a competent Judge?
  13. (Credit to SHIPWRECKEDCREW@X) From a real non-biased attorney who understands law So, posting here to see all this playout in real time......But HEY, they got the bill passed in record time🤣 Thomas Massie is a genius. But even though he is on the House Judiciary Committee, he seems to have no actual understanding of how the enforcement of laws work in the criminal context. He told Kaitlin Collins yesterday that if there is a failure to comply with his statute, it will be enforced criminally, and people will go to jail. 1. The only thing the statute does is force the creation of a searchable and downloadable database of materials. 2. The statute orders the Attorney General to create this database. 3. The statute leaves a variety of discretionary judgments to the Attorney General on what documents to include. 4. The statute does not include any provisions that give notice to anyone that non-compliance is a criminal offense. 5. Massie says "their" -- he and Khanna -- method of enforcement will be "legal." But here is the problem that shows how little Massie understands about the law: The obligation to create the database is placed upon the Attorney General. Who is it in the U.S. government that is given the authority to decide when to bring criminal charges and who to charge? Due process under the 5th Amendment requires "Notice and Opportunity to be Heard". Where in the statute is "Notice" provided that non-compliance is potentially a criminal offense?
  14. LOL - I'm not sure why you want this case to be dismissed so bad, if he is guilty.....procedure errors do not make him innocent. I don't want to put words in your mouth officer, but it sounds like you want Trump's DOJ to fail more than you want the law upheld..... And very non-partisan legal experts claim that having the GJ sign the same indictment minus the one charge they voted against does not effect the case..... but it makes a great drama
  15. They are going to be disappointed this bill does not release any grand jury testimony. That always has and still does require a court order - this is just theater....
