  1. Noticed the only quotes are "great mayor" and the rest is opinion and I actually watched the televised meeting (that was public) and what Lumbertonraiderfan said is 100% fact. You TDS people amaze me with how you think of things. The President and Mayor getting a long is a good thing....
  2. Trump said during his first term that he didn't think it would do America any good to go after Hillary, so he didn't. Some quotes below - You're not the only one who seems to have trouble remembering things in context. "I don't want to hurt the Clintons, I really don't. She went through a lot and suffered greatly in many different ways, and I am not looking to hurt them at all". "I think we have to get the focus of the country into looking forward". "I feel that I want to focus on jobs, I want to focus on health care, I want to focus on the border and immigration and doing a really great immigration bill... And I want to focus on — all of these other things that we've been talking about".
  3. If the economy does not "feel" better, the Democrats have the advantage......I have a feeling after the first of the year, with a new "Powell" , there will be cuts to prime rate, getting mortgage rates under 6%, - that will spark people that have been holding out to sell their homes, increase supply which will lower cost. Energy prices will continue to fall, which effects everything. <id-terms is not in the bag for Democrats just yet.
  4. They're not siding with Comey, they're siding against the administration. Think about it, very seldom do any from the left agree with anything this Administration has done.
  5. I'm not sure this meets "radical Judge" - a radical Judge could have dismissed "WITH Prejudice" and it would be over
  6. They were procedural issues not merit issues....and apparently the Judge knew that because he dismissed "without prejudice", meaning they can and will be indicted again.
  7. As I predicted, so far, more Democrats effected than Republicans…….or Trump And so far, I see no “relief” for the victims
  8. Why is everything compared to the one black President? Are you going to bring up the Brown suit next? Why didn’t you say what if “Bill Clinton” said it…..that may be a bad example since he committed adultery in the oval office with a girl over half his age…… and honestly, Obama ONLY won because of the white vote….PERIOD. His level of criticism is not even in the same atmosphere as what Trump has had to deal with….and being we now know Obama sabotaged Trump in first term, I consider him to be scum and to my knowledge the first President to do something like that.
  9. He has made these comments his entire life, so I’m not sure why you are surprised. In your opinion @Big girl, is calling someone piggy worse than calling someone a Nazi?
  10. No idea - but I think that should be changed,,,,You're social security is just returning the money you paid in .
  11. I went to the store (wal-mart) the other day and got a bag of dog food ($50), 2 different dog treats, gallon of tea, 4 cucumbers, salad dressing, a couple other things I can't remember and it was $130...... In my head I was thinking $80 - not counting dog food, there were only 4 small bags........ That was not a warm and fuzzy feeling
  12. I don't see that happening for a long time. I think a 4.5-5% Mortgage is affordable and possible. Lower is always better BUT, it also gets people to buy a more expensive house because they can afford the note.....Often, what they find is a bigger home is a higher tax bill, higher insurance bill, higher utility bills and higher repair and replacement cost. That big house you got on a "deal" in 20 years will cost you 25K to replace the roof versus 10K or less for a more modern house. These are things Dad preached to me about when I thought I knew everything.....LOL
  13. I feel the things he has put into place will start being felt next year. I believe he will get the 2K tariff stimulus out - lower the prime another .50 - that should put Mortgage rates under 6%, which will get people to start selling there homes......
  14. Welcome to the jungle!
  15. I believe those polls.... He better have a good plan for 2026.....
