If he can't get the support of his own district...... I really liked Perot.....

There is absolutely nothing he can do except retire and continue to vote against Trump.....

Fair points and I agree it could certainly go that way.... A lot of it has to do with the remaining term and what is accomplished. If Iran deal is made, prices drop for Mid-Terms and he focuses on lowering cost he may get Vance across the line - then let Vance work on Healthcare. With the very narrow majority in house and senate (one way or the other) - I see nothing of significance like healthcare happening in the next two years.

As his Republican support plummets....lol He just took out a 7 term 14 year senator......He was 3 for 3 last night. You are going to be very disappointed if you don't stop reading what you only agree with.....
-
Sit back and relax - There is lots of investigations gong on at the moment......
-
That was, as most things are, taken out of context. The white house later reported he was talking about reducing fraud and shifting responsibilities to the states, not ending Medicare or Medicaid. I have no problem with that - all the fraud being discovered in Child care and the 14 billion in healthcare fraud....something needs to be done.
-
Conservatively, I think Trump will keep House or Senate - worst case, Democrats gets both with a very small majority that keeps them in check to not do something stupid. Trump lames out last 2 years and Democrats push to impeach but will not have enough votes to do anything..... So, 2028 - what do you think about Vance?

Spin it how you want, but apparently his constituents though differently by a large margin. He didn't lose by a little, he got his butt kicked by almost 10 points....

Massie just lost….. Trump still has a massive amount of power with his base. The media has been betting against Trump for a long time and losing

A couple things we agree on - if I don't get deer sausage from my brother - it's always market basket Also, I've never been a big boudin fan, but someone had me try their smoked brisket boudin and it was AMAZING.
-
That was a staple in my house growing up and currently. I add deer sausage:)

I bet if you reread my response you will have no supporting responses from me that supports that accusation. All I've said is your original comment about taxes was inflated, and I didn't consider social security and Medicare as a tax, but a benefit. I also mentioned a way to avoid home and car insurance. I get cost of living and gas prices are high right now, as it has been for the last 5.5 years. While we are not in Utopia, I'm not eating beans and rice or diving into my savings or keeping balances on any credit card. So, I'm not to the doom and gloom yet.

I never said that..... You never suggested a solution.....

As for insurance, in Texas you can put up 55K and self insure for each vehicle. Once your house is paid off, you can not insure it. I just don't consider SS, Medicare, retirement/401 K taxes. Those are a benefit you will be receiving back. What would you consider to be fair taxes paid? The next question would be what services would you recommend cutting that was paid by the taxes you want to remove?
-
Defend no - call out exaggerated figures..... YES Your post supports my point - HE makes 50K and pays 9.8-10K in taxes, not 17K. Social security and Medicaid is a benefit, so I'm not sure how you call that a tax. I do wish we could opt out of social security and those of us that have contributed for 44 years like myself could get it in one lump sum, and my kids could just not contribute....
