I don't see how Chargois is going to survive this.......there is only a handful of his supporters left.... No one has said if a contract was actually signed......I'm wondering if that will play a part. As for the negative publicity......you couldn't make this stuff up....... Oh yea.....and Jessie is appealing the workers comp claim.......while she is still on the BISD payroll..........

I have watched this thread for weeks and didn't see much taking up for BISD. I thought the good tax paying citizens of Beaumont had finally had enough. I thought they were tired of wasting their tax dollars, depriving their kids of a good education and helping increase the property values of all the surrounding cities...... Then I went to the football forum........we still have folks blaming media bias, trying to call out other districts wrong doings (like that would fix anything) and even trying to marginalize a teacher getting his license suspended for improper relationship with a student.....really?? Do we hire convicted pedophiles for daycare workers if they "served their time"?? It is very apparent that the problem in BISD is not JUST BISD......it's some of the voting taxpayers that make excuses and allow this corruption to continue........

Chargois is in a pickle...... In one aspect I sympathize with him(he walked into a mess)....but on the other, it appears he played the favorites/political game just like everyone else. He did not take swift action against the public figures.....had he fired Jessi Haynes, he would be in much better shape right now. It does not look like he was smart enough to see his future and everything blowing up around him.....

I'm guilty of letting my 13yo bring his cell phone to school. It's beentaken up once and cost me $15.00. He an A-B student (pretty good during puberty) and I like the fact I can contact him if I want.....and he likes to text me his lunch order on Fridays..... -

Thanks TVC......wish we could see mote of the video -
Our typical disclaimer applies here: The CBO projection is for official enrollments. The HHS numbers, as well as Avalere’s and Gaba’s, are all counting sign-ups, and not whether someone has completed enrollment by paying the first month’s premium. By the best estimates, anywhere from 80 to 90 percent of people signing up have paid their premiums. And how does he know 80-90% has paid their first months premiums when the White House does not have that information....and if they did, don't yoiu think they would post it? [Hidden Content] During her testimony on HHS’ budget for 2015 last week, Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told members of Congress that she had “no idea†how many people had made their premium payments because the government does not collect that information. :o :o But an insurance industry insider confirmed to FOXBusiness.com that HHS does have those stats but is failing to release them for political reasons as it would lower the enrollment count.

Four Reasons why gay marriage is our concern
thetragichippy replied to jv_coach's topic in The Locker Room
If you want to compare murder to being gay? Being gay is not a crime, murder is. I believe the bible says sonething about he who has not sinned cast the first stone..... Shouldn't you guys just turn the other cheek? I was just stating an opinion, as you were yours... -
Four Reasons why gay marriage is our concern
thetragichippy replied to jv_coach's topic in The Locker Room
I've always wondered how someone straight can tell the feelings of someone gay. There is NO WAY I would "choose" to have sex with a man....however, some do..... do they make that choice or are they born feeling that way? I would have to say they were born with it because I don't see how they with choose it...... -
I leave for a couple months and you guys start slacking :P I figured there would be at least 12 pages of comments..... I watched the video and I support the cop. While it looks bad, I don't feel the officer did it intentionally. I think he was just trying to put cuffs on the kid. If he would of complied to the officers request, he would be fine.... TVC, you agree? Anyone? [Hidden Content]
No but I have eaten some cooked by a friend and it was literally some of the best smoked meat that I have ever eaten. I don't think he seasoned it much like maybe some salt and pepper and then smoked them for a good while at a low smoking temperature. They were not barbecued but that might be good also. We always ate them in a stew or gravy but the smoked was awesome.
may try that this weekend......thanks Same here, my grandmother would smother with onions and mkae a gravy, served over rice......really good

Football is not a sport that should be played all year. A kids body is not developed to do that. They need time to heal their bodies not keep beating it down and possibly cause some major health issues at a very young age. My son plays but ounce the season is over it's on to basketball and baseball. Those of you who put their kids through the beating they take in football all year round are living vicariously through their son for something the parent may not have accomplished when they were young in my opinion.
Yep, year round football is a bad idea!
Why? Because the parents enjoy the glory more than the kids enjoy playing. Hence why anyone would subject their children to year round sports of any kind.
I know if I would let my son, he would play football year round.....and I'm not living through him, I just support him.......but, I would never let him for health reasons.

Coast Guard rescues man off Sabine Pass coast

Has anyone heard from Westend? ;D -
Now that winter is almost here, I thought would be a good time to bring up awareness. It's one thing to be stranded in a boat on the water in summer, but spending the night unprepared in the winter is a completely different story. Moral of the story.......PAY ATTENTION and know your surroundings......and even new motors break down, so have a small survival kit in your boat. And ALWAYS let someone know where you are going and what time you should be back........ A 33-year-old man was rescued in the Gulf Friday after his boat ran into land off the coast in Port Arthur, according to information from the Coast Guard. Reports say the man, who has not yet been identified to media, was found on land about seven miles southeast of Port Arthur. He was reported missing by his daughter, who called Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston when the man did not arrive at work on time. A news release from the department says a 24-foot airboat was launched from Sabine Pass while a rescue helicopter was sent to survey the area. The man was found on a piece of land in the Gulf, waving his arms to signal rescue crews above. His boat had gone aground. Read more: [Hidden Content]
