  Congrats on your degree's. I have a buddy that is a NP and that is really the future. Hopefully Texas will pass the law that you do not need a Doctor to sign off to run your own business.   Now, to my point....   Degree's give you knowledge, show commitment but do not make you more intelligent or automatically better at your job. I have no degree and have been managing large businesses since I was 24, and I am currently 48. I have trained college grads only to see them fail because a Business Degree only gives you the tools.....you have to know what to do with them to make them work.   While I don't agree with everything Perry has done or stands for, He has ran Texas pretty good.   Oh Yea......What do all these people have in common? Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, Dave Thomas(founder of Wendy's), Davis Green(Founder of Hobby Lobby), Henry Ford, Michael Dell, Simon Cowell......   No College Degree........and there are MANY more.....

      I guess that is temporary compared to a lifetime.   The welfare system is flawed and has a lot of waste. The cuts need to happen and will at some point.   Cuts need to be made in a lot more than just welfare.   When people hear cuts they thing someone is going to someone's house and taking back their food stamps and children are going to bed hungry, A cut can be as simple as staffing reductions or combining jobs. At my job, I lost my assistant manager and gained a full time employee. I now delegate their task to all my employee's. It works great and I saved some money.

  Who you talking about Bigcam?   The reason they are having a trial is they(public) want her gone....   Not sure about what you do, but in my job, if I started singing during a public meeting, I would get fired. If I blocked a doorway (for whatever reason)....I would get fired.....if I falsified a police report claiming something happened at my job that didn't, I would be fired.......    But she is still there :wacko:

OK....back to subject.....Shouldn't this be a simple case? She is on trial for obstructing a door.....right?  She clearly did do that. right?   As for if she was assaulted, does that really matter?   If I'm caught shoplifting and someone assaults me, does the shoplifting charge go away?

Village Creek is one of the best canoe/Kayaking spots we have. If you catch it a couple days after a rain were the water is flowing above normal, makes for a great ride......   When it is at normal flow, good fishing if you know what you are doing......   Great sandbars for camping to....   I enjoy doing that with my son as much as taking my real boat out.
