NO ADVERTISING...............   I had my topic pulled cause I was advertising my CUSTOM GLOVES, but there is people advertising their fall programs, and advertising their opening on teams. I think someone need to re-write that rule on what really they are not allowing as advertising? Also, breaking the rules.... There is a rule for rumors..... I think if you guys are deleting topics for rule breaking, you guys need to delete this entire WEB-SITE,.
you might wanna get with Jordan (site owner) before posting your advertisements.
Which is exactly what he was told a couple of days ago.  The deletion of said posts were brought about by several posters who repoted the post and complained.  Look we have costs here.  The site owner has just told us that those costs are going up as we are going to a new server to make sure that we can handle the traffic that is expected this upcoming season.  Now why should you make money off of our site and not help the site with its cost.  There is no free advertising on here. And by the way, putting the advertisement in your signature also violates rule 14.
I also think there is a difference in advertising for personal gain versus advertising for a little league game or a select team looking for players........

 3.
Well, I find it funny that there are all of the complaints about Lumberton running a version of the T, when Coach Credeur told me that he is not running the T, but rather going from the I.
I'm pretty sure he told you right
 4. Ok.....I'm from Lumberton and I see no bashing........heck, the one doing the bashing earlier was a kid FROM Lumberton..... IF the kids can't take a few jokes thrown at them on a message board, I'm scared how they would do on a FB field....... it was all in good fun......atleast from Buddy!

 7.
Jasper has done a better job keeping all their kids playing than WELL recently.  So has BC.  It's hard to keep them all playing with the lure of Ford Park just down the road.
Jasper is  A LONG roadtrip to Ford park.....lol I think that keeps them at home as well
 8.
Is having "select" players on your All Star team bad?  EVERY good All Star team is full of "select" players.  You have to play a lot of baseball to be competitive at a high level. The difference is, In Jasper, our "select" players play TOGETHER for years.  We form teams made up of almost exclusively Jasper kids at the age of 7 or 8 and those kids play together for years.  In other leagues (like WELL) these select players play on different teams with different kids almost every year.  Playing together year round makes a HUGE difference.  Also, for the most part, our select kids stay in league ball, mainly for the oportunity to represent their hometown in All Stars.  Our kids all play baseball together and dedicate themselves with the dream of being a JASPER BULLDOG someday and that is why our baseball program has been so solid for the past several years....because it is a Program.  Our kids, coaches, and parents see the big picture and stay together to groom players for the future of Jasper Baseball.
I watched the 11 YO game in Jasper versus Lumberton....The names in the field happened to be the same names as the 10 YO all starts on the banner from last year.......they have a good program.
 9. explains why he has not posted his "VIEWS" in the lockerroom....... You people ::) 8)  8)
 10.
I am a WELL member, we are fairly solid, but lately Jasper has had the stong hand. We have WELL Jr's playing in Jasper tonight for Championship (lost 1 to Jasper already)-----12 year olds lost to Jasper 3-2 last Saturday night (great game) may see them again tomorrow night if we beat Buna tonight (Buna 12's are solid also)---11 year olds were defeated by Jasper Tues night, and I think play them again tonight. not sure on the 10yo level.
I agree......Jasper has a SOLID program!!
 11. If your talking about West End LL.......... The 11yo team beat Lumberton last night. They are a great team and had excellent sportsmanship and coaching. I was very impressed!
 12. I was not sure where to post this, but I thought it might get the most mileage here. Three children have died because of an idiots poor decision making. This idiot will probably be at minimum civilly liable for what happened. Remember that no matter how good of a captain you think you are, the weather and other unavoidable situations can come up fast. Lastly, the passenger limit posted on the vessel should be followed at all times and you must have enough life jackets for all passengers on your boat. FYI, the passenger limit for this boat was 15.....there were 27 people on board, and not everyone had a life jacket.........sad sad.... 3 children dead, 24 people rescued after boat capsizes off New York's Long Island Authorities recovered three bodies after a boat full of fireworks watchers capsized off New York's Long Island on the Fourth of July, sending 24 others into the Long Island Sound, where many were rescued by fellow boaters, police said Thursday. Fox News confirmed that the three dead were children, ages 12, 11 and 8 years old. They were recovered from the water near Oyster Bay after an overnight search. No survivor suffered any injuries. PNG would have tar and feathered someone over that!
Sounds like you need to go back to PN-G!  Look, if the fact that the band marches in black is causing the Raider football team to lose games, then there is a helluva a lot more wrong with the program than anyone can EVER fix!  The fact of the matter is this: 1. Lumberton is at the bottom in the state enrollment for 4-A schools  (less players to choose from) 2. Hammerheads who are clueless calling for the coach's termination at every corner 3. Although Lumberton has SOME talent, they need a stronger core...like with the playoff teams from a few short years ago 4. A winning tradition backed by the community With all due respect (which is very little from the content of your mindless post), If a 3rd grader can't wear a homecoming mum, nobody in their right mind would associate that with W's and L's for the Raider football team.  The program needs a level of talent not offered with current enrollment; it needs support from the school district to fund the program and it needs support from the community who will stand behind the program...not complain about inconsequential sport updates on a website that almost noone visits anyway. Man...that feels better!  Keep the faith Coach Credeur...some people in this community still have a clue.
Just so you guys know, the Band Uniform slacks are Royal Blue (very dark) while the tops are mainly Columbian Blue. The royal blue started in a time when several different groups started changing their uniform colors, I always figured it was an attempt to get the school to change colors, even the football team slipped in some different colors. Thank God for the Raiderettes who remained true to our school colors. Now mote and more of the groups have gone back to the right colors on their uniforms. Hopefully the band will soon find a color mix that looks good and emphasizes our complete array of school colors. Lumberton has some good traditions, i.e. the Raiderettes, we just seem to have trouble transferring those loyalties and traditions to other activities, that's what I've always wished would change in our town. We have league leading soccer teams, cheerleaders, Raiderettes, a top notch band program and many other areas our kids excel at, we as fans need to just keep supporting the kids as a whole and not pick and choose. I don't have any dogs in the hunt here as my daughter went to school in California and north Texas but as an alumni I always make most of the football games and support all the kids participating, I try to make several soccer games, and basketball games, boys and girls. I also make an occasional marching contest, not every year mind you but I've been to several. To me this is what being a parent, relative or alumni is all about and Lumberton needs a whole lot more of this.
Great post!

 22.
I hate to knock it but I have been around a few kids who do it and I frankly haven't seen much difference.
My son did this the first year it came out.  There are about 10 levels.  My son ranked 4th from the top level on his initial tryout. The tryout consist of different speed drills, pull ups, vertical jumps, etc... After 4 months he moved up 2 levels, then we got busy and didn't finish.....He went about 8 months, twice a week. If you missed a qualifying day, you had to wait to the next month. I watched slower kids move up as well, but not to the top levels.  I think it does help.  Do I think it will take a slow kid and make him faster than average......no.
 23. I agree........ Just be careful and watch the weather.  I have seen my 22'6" center console boat be too small for sabine lake(and jetty).  I have never been scared, but when go down in a swell and can't see anything but water, it makes you more careful......lol
