I'm out of town right now, so i can't physically go and see but judging from airial photos and reading up on Pine Island, it seems like my boat would not do well their. I have a 19' Nitro and a friend willing to partner up with a poster that has a 20' Skeeter. I have never fished there, so I really don't know. However, if you wanted to have a good river tourney, you could go a little farther north and launch at Steinhagen and have both the Neches and Angelina Rivers. Launching is no problem there and the rivers are wide. just a thought.
If we do Pine Island, you and your friend can launch first  ;D
haha! no thanks. last time i lauched where i shouldn't have, i liked to have never gotten out. glogged up my water intake in the process.
I'm afraid I will fall off the ramp :(

At first everyone was wanting to do it. Now no one has said they are for sure doing it. Lets get this thing done! I want to fish haha ;D
I have only said that I was open in May. At least one other person has said the same thing. Most people don't have boats. I don't see where anyone has agreed to anything except a couple of people have boats and a couple may not be able to make June.
It's always been tough setting up a tourney.  We have done two and I think best show was 4 or 5 boats.  I'm not even sure my boat will be able to launch there....I'm not sure how long boat ramp is.
 9.
Do any of y'all know if its legal to hunt beavers in Texas and if it is, where i could find one and best way to hunt for it/kill?
Yes...... The Honky tonk in Silsbee and LOTS of beer  :o  8)
After MONTHS of consideration (and shopping) I decided on the Lowe, 17' aluminum.  It's similar to the style that I have now, but longer & wider w/ TONS of storage.  I think I'm gonna like it a lot.  70 hp 4 stroke.
I went down this morning and looked at the AlumnaCraft 1860.  It's got a small tunnel and sponsons.  Looks pretty cool, but $13,000 for the boat and trailer(no motor), seems a little high.
That does sound high?  Is the trailer stainless steel?

Ok if my 16 yr old partners up with me? We fish as many tournaments as we can together.
No. Anyone but him. 8) Of course he can.  ;D
TVC...I need to check boatramp........I'm not 100% sure my boat will be able to launch.....we still on?

 15. Bullets and TVC , I have boat, but unsure it would fit in Pine Island........I might have my 14ft boat ready by then,,but not sure. We could fit 3 in my boat depending on the rules......
if you're "in a plane", you won't have to worry about fenceposts, but you will have to worry about power lines :)
;D You had me spell checking.....lol

Who gives a **** who is a "better" Director, who puts on a "better" Tournament, these are things that are simply other individuals opinions, not "facts". Tournaments have an incredible amount of variables that go into weather it's a "good tournament" or not. All I know is that I have 2 boys that play in different age groups and both for the Gladiators, and due to a "pissing contest" (IMO) neither will be allowed to play in several tournaments their coaches had scheduled, nor be able to play at some great ballparks. I do plan on calling the USSSA Director, and maybe he can explain to my Kids, or the roughly 80 others that are now in the same boat. It's really pathetic and so are these posts, can't you guys find something productive to discuss.
Agreed.  These posts are ridiculous.  Hopefully yours puts a stop to this insanity.
Thats funny......... 8)
 21. My buddy has been troutlining village creek and doing well on limb lines....... I will hopefully join him Friday evening....
The important part  ;D ;D ;D
:-X
Haven't trotlined much.  I think that is a Republican sport, along with noodling.      :o
Nahh......throwing a line out, leaving, coming back and expecting food...... 8)
