One last thing, my girlfriends mother in high school committed suicide, one of my sons friends committed suicide, and I've had friends that knew of someone that have commited suicide....... Not one of them have ever said, yeah I saw that coming. So her family's reaction does not surprise me

Yup......everyone has a line drawn in the sand of what they believe. If taking down a flag in a few cities make some people feel better, then I guess that is great. This will fade away very quickly.......or may backfire and more private memorials will be built......then people will see 13 of them as they enter your city.
