We have been tearing up the frogs last few weeks. Cooking them fresh every Sunday.......Here is my question.
We have been frying them just like my grandparents used to.....We have been experimenting with time, wanting them cooked but not over cooked......The problem is they can get chewy. The calf meat is fine, but the thigh's sometimes are so chewy you can't break them down........Anyone know of a solution?
Man, this thread made my head hurt.
I was actually kind of surprised at some of the comments.....and these days that is a pretty tough thing to do.
PamFam and New tobie made some good points.
He did get his job back.......and it did not matter if he was a veteran.....just like it does not matter if a man is "unarmed" and a cop shoots him in self defense.
But both of those terms are used to make the suspects look better
You are totally wrong. Based on your post, you were probably not on this forum when it was discussed. The majority of folks on this page supported the cop. I know I did.
This does however, make you look silly bringing up the race card........especially a black cop killing an "unarmed" white veteran........and no charges brought against the cop and no riots in the street.
My Son was told by someone else but I'm not going to restrict the real world from him. He will be driving in 5 months, he can handle this site if he chooses. He also has other focuses.......girls, jeeps and fishing......
If you think the kids don't monitor this site, My 10th grader just called me, told me there was a post about Mackey and asked me to ban anyone who says "Evadale sucks"...........lol
Odd......Coached several years in the STJFL and never had the poor me attitude. I knew a couple of the PNG coaches and we all got along fine and had some good games. Sorry you feel that way, I have nothing but good memories when Lumberton played PNG....even when we lost
Question, I heard putting wood chips as a first layer under the turf will decrease the heat on the field by 50%. I heard this was not done on Lumberton's field. The same person told me they measured the temp on the field at 130 degrees.
Is there any truth to this?
That statement really depends on how Silsbee does. He might enjoy himself having a run at a State title with Evadale......who knows?
My Son sure enjoys it.
When I was in school, we had snack machines, a pizza bar and hamburger bar......that was at Edison. When I got to TJ, we had open campus (back when schools were not treated like a Prison), and I ate almost exclusively at Taco Bell......Cheap and I could get A LOT.......lol
you know, I supported his tight to defend himself. With that said, I'm pretty sure I would look the other way if I witnessed him getting his butt kicked.
