2.
This thread should be retitled to "The older I get, the better I was"  ;)
thats some funny stuff
 3.
Well, what's the poop? Who won? Any fish to speak of? Big fish? Surely someone in the tourney has a smart phone.  :D
Bullets and I came in 2nd place.....actually there were only 2 boats, vp's boat and my boat. It looks like the 5-6 boats that said they would do it where no shows.........which would have been some good information to know since I got very little sleep last night preparing for a tournament where only 2 boats showed up.....and one was mine  >:( I had a good time, but if the people that commited would have called and canceled in advance, maybe we could have made different plans, put more than 2 people in a boat, etc.... Now that I'm through venting, VP did it again with 2 fish, one of them over 6 pounds...I think 6.7 or close to it. The other was 15". I had one that went 15". So, 2 years in a row I give my money to VP.... ;D

 6.
There shouldn't be an issue underneath the stands because they poured under-reams like 30 ft. deep. This should prevent the concrete from shifting.
Cool...... I thought you needed to do soil samples to know how deep to make the under-reams..... Anyone know?
 7. So, if there is issues with the ground (foundation) on the playing field, what about the soil under the concrete under the stands?  If they didnt do soil samples, then how did they prepare the concrete?  Is there going to be issues in 5 years?
 8. My son took away sooo much from this camp.  You have to know my son....but: He was so excited after Friday night, he went to bed at 10:30PM (camp ended at 9PM) Woke up his Mom at 7:00AM Sat. morning, had already took a shower, fixed his hair, fully dressed and ready to go. He don't get up that early Christmas day!  ;D hats off to a great camp!
 9. Some of you should look at the mood of "westend1's" post.  He makes his points without insults.  There is a way to communicate without attacking.......... ;)
 10. Will be registering my Son today.  Decided on this over the Lamar camp because of the hours (9a-9p on Saturday).  Plus, they have classroom training....... I spoke with one of the Coaches a couple days ago and he seemed like a stand up guy. Looking forward to my son having a blast!
 11. Really nice guy! [Hidden Content] He was the first Denver Bronco player. Austin (Goose) Gonsoulin  (Defensive Back) was an All-AFL defensive back for the Denver Broncos in 1960 (with 11 interceptions), 1962 and 1963, and an AFL Western Division All-Star in 1961, 1964, and 1966.  His eleven interceptions in 1960 are still a franchise record.  After his last season in the American Football League in 1966, he was the league's all-time leader in interceptions, with forty.  In 1970 Gonsoulin was selected as a defensive back on the Second Team, All-Time All-AFL.
:D
 13.
Just by the nature of the question, this is a very subjective and opinion oriented thread.  With the notable exception of the Smith brothers and Gaspard, most all the names that I recognize were offensive skill position players.
As a fan most will remember the guy that makes the touchdowns........not the ones that prevent them. NOT TAKING ANYTHING AWAY FROM DEFENSIVE PLAYERS!!
 14.
If my post is going to be deleted someone should have the common courtesy of at least pm'ing me and letting me know or know why. Thanks
It looks like more than yours was deleted............and reading yours this morning, it seemed to fall within the rules of the forum.
 15.
If you are talking TJ, how could you leave off Frank Edom, Gary Hammond plus some of those big linemen from the Buckshot Underwood days?
Sorry........I was just quick typing from memory,,,,,I'm sure there is more I missed...
 16.

Looking for an old hobie catamaran between 12 and 14 ft long.  The only thing it needs to have is the pontoons. If anyone knows where I can find one, please let me know.  BTW, it does not have to be a hobie brand.......just need a set of light weight pontoons. Thanks
I have one, but it leans to the left.       ;D
I should have known  ;D P.S.  That was funny!
 17. I am wanting to make a raft to float down the creek.  I have been looking a different options, but something I did not realize is the state now wants just about everything registered.  For example, if I ducktape a bunch of plastic bottles to 3 or 4 - 8 ft  2X4's , put a trolling motor on it......I have to pay $32.00 a year and have it registered..........to me, thats stupid. read below: The following vessels (when on Texas public water) are required by law to have current registration. This includes vessels that are docked or moored: All motorized boats, regardless of length (motorized boats include boats propelled by a trolling motor); and All sailboats 14 feet in length or longer or any sailboat with an auxiliary engine(s); and USCG Documented vessels. Exempted vessels — All (non-motorized) canoes, kayaks, punts, rowboats, or rubber rafts (regardless of length) when paddled, poled, or oared; sailboats under 14 feet in length when windblown; USCG documented commercial vessels used in coastal shipping; and USCG documented vessels exceeding 115 feet in length.
