they each got 6-7 murder charges......was that just to stack the sentence?
-
All three were convicted....the father and son guilty on all 8 or 9 counts...... the 3rd wheel guilty of 7/9 or 8/9 Their future is trying to hold on to the soap for the rest of their lives.....

I'm not sure how it ended up, but I was listening to your buddy Nate the lawyer. He was pointing out the Judge possibly making a ruling on the wording of the self defense law. I believe there was two parts to self defense, and the defense was using one part and the Judge said it would require both for deadly force. If he ruled like he was leaning, he pretty much took the self defense off the table.

The Grifting Never Stops, Does It?

Send Kyle an AR for 2nd amendment rights or construct a statue of Floyd for police brutality......Depends on what you support I guess. -
lol. AGREED!

I've been watching/listening to the trial. It is very interesting. The Judge has been very colorful and pretty hard on the prosecution for trying to admit things he felt was not within the laws/rules on the court. So far, admittedly bias, I don't think the State is very convincing.

It is streaming on YouTube live. I think the defense had a great opening, with video and pictures. The defense also made the prosecutions first witness, his friend, backpedal on testimony and statements he gave the FBI. Of course, I may be biased since I think he is innocent as well

I'm no expert but I think it was a good day for Kyle based on the few hours I watched.

No dog in the fight so to speak, but to me, comparing a football contract to slavery is insulting to the people whose ancestors where actually slaves.. ......You would think they would be totally against his comments.

He’s pretty smart….he lets everyone proofread it for him😂

This is going to be an interesting trial, and the Twitter comments will not disappoint…..here is one guy that thinks you must be at least grazed by a bullet before you can use lethal force….. “No shot grazed his body so therefore he had no legal right to self defense..... he felt like he was being attacked but he actually wasn't until he starting running... feelings are not upheld by the law”

You cannot combat words with violence. Period -
This is CNN giving an opinion about the Wall Street Journal going too far in it's opinion section........ They are comparing stating an opinion that the election was stolen in 2020 to yelling fire in a movie theater...... From the article "The op-ed section at the Journal will likely hide behind 1st Amendment free speech arguments to defend themselves. But that misses the mark, since our speech is bound in all sorts of ways already. You can't yell "bomb" on a plane without repercussions. Or "fire" in a movie theater. (Remember when we used to go to the movies? Yeah, that was fun.)" Are we going to criminalize opinions when we don't agree with them? [Hidden Content]

I taught my kid from a young age that he had every right to defend himself against an attack. It worked well for us, he was only in one fight and it lasted only a couple seconds as he only swung one time and put the dude on his butt. I picked him up from school and we went for dinner and ice cream. He was around 13. School imo should not have different self defense rules than real life.....I mean, school is suppose to prepare you for real life, right? I see both sides, but my old school mentality can't make sense of letting yourself get beat up.

I would agree with the expert part….you have experience plus you research

I really enjoyed the way Donald Rumsfeld would reply to reporters that asked stupid questions or would repeat the same questions. In his day, that man was razor sharp with a slight humor to his responses.

I could have misunderstood, but listening to the Sherriff's press conference today there were multiple live rounds in the gun they think was used.....along with over 500 "rounds" of ammo on set. I could not catch if the 500 was real or blanks or a combination of both. Any way you look at it, that does not sound like a safe atmosphere......

Man, I just got a blink system at my Dad's house that we just remodeled......I about wore that camera out when I heard about the tornado....luckily all is well

Getting licks worked..... My son was acting up trying to be a comedian in I think 4th grade. We had a teacher/principle conference including my Son. They wanted to put three post it notes on his desk daily and every time he disrupted the class they would remove one note. When he ran out of notes he would be sent to principle. The punishment there would be running on a treadmill. I listened to this discipline plan with a grin. When they asked me my opinion, I told them I disagreed. He will have one post it note, not three. This would give him one warning then a trip to the office. In the office he would receive three licks, not run on a treadmill.....he was an athlete, that was exercise not punishment. My Son looked at me in disbelief when I said licks....lol The principle agreed, I signed a form, and he NEVER made it to the principle.......but my guess is he lost that one post it note daily......lol

So, I'm no fan of Alec.....but I do have a question. There have been a handful of people killed by real bullets in "prop guns".....Since a prop gun shoots real bullets, they would be a real gun.......right? Why can't they make a "prop gun" that can't fire standard bullets.......and if they use real guns, why let any real bullets on the set? Seems the easy fix is to not allow real bullets on the same property with prop guns.....

that may not be a protocol but it should be.
