  1. Ok, I’m going throw the narrative the left always throws.... “should breaking and entering be a death sentence”?
  2. The most peaceful way to prevent rioting is to not allow it. It may cause loss of life in the beginning, but once the message is out, it will stop. Even criminals understand life versus death.... We just have get the media to not spin the truth
  3. Randy Travis, IMO had one of, if not the best country voices ever. I was always a fan of his hits, but when I watched the video below with him and George Jones, it gave me a new respect for Travis. I mean, at his age, singing George songs in front of George had to be nerve racking, but he killed it. If you have never hear this, it's worth the time.....
  4. I was wondering when you were going to announce this. I almost made a stand alone post about it here, but was not sure you wanted it public. I hope you enjoy your retirement and thank you for your service. I'm moving to Port Arthur for a couple years while we work on land, wait for lumber prices to fall and build a house. I would of felt a little safer if you would of waited a couple years,,,,,lol
  5. I'm not sure I agree or disagree with the shooting. We don't know the use of force guidelines. What I do know, is if this was a city police officer and she was black, the media would be up in arms and the headlines would read "unarmed black woman shot by police during mostly peaceful protest"
  6. A plantation may be comprised of 85% blacks, but who reaps the rewards? If we are going back to the 1800's, I guess the Plantation owner benefits......If we are talking current day, that 85% is being paid and want to be there, as they are not obligated to stay..... Now, back to current times. The only way to make a system perfect is to pick and choose. Should we be denying good black people to play basketball to add enough white people to mirror the demographics of the country or State? Should we do the same for Football. For Oscars and Academy awards, should it go to who earns it, or should be let lesser talent win so it matches a perceived demographic of fairness?
  7. That is hard to argue.....With 74% of the NBA black and 60% of the NFL black, I think those sports are very diverse.
  8. What I find interesting is pass completion and Super bowl wins don't even suggest a correlation. It also depends on the guy receiving the pass..... Brady(7 rings) #19 pass completion Montana(4 rings) #23 pass completion Bradshaw (4 rings) #171 pass completion
  9. Unfortunately, She is correct on the bolded statement. While I don't believe that is the general consensus today, I'm old enough to remember it was in the 60's and 70's.
  10. That is absolutely NUTS....
  11. When I had surgery, they injected something in my arm, broke my toe, replace the joint, and drilled screws in my bone.......the only thing I felt is the initial stick of the IV. I call BS why they can't do that, and from there do whatever they need to end the life. Heck, they could of decapitated me and I would of never known......
  12. well, it's fact there is an audit taking place...... and it's fact that 100 democratic lawyers tried to stop it....
  13. Seems you forgot the first amendment. If he thinks the election was stolen, or there was fraud, he has every right to say it. None of the things you posted are proven, all speculation...... This is no different than the laundry list of things Trump was going to go to jail for when he was out of office.......he's still a free man......
  14. What has he done besides make New York safe while he was Mayor? I listened to him last night in an interview. He claims his innocence. I have no reason to believe he is not telling the truth. Remember, he was "America's Mayor" until he supported trump.
  15. So the DA said the car made contact with the police twice......... If he was using the car as a weapon, or they perceived it to be used as a weapon, can they use deadly force?? I would think yes We shall see.......
  16. Thoughts? -No public explanation from Sherriff..... -Brown Attorney claims he was shot in the back of his head..... They were trying to execute a felony warrant, and he was in control of a vehicle that could cause the police harm. Even his attorney say he was backing up while some of the shooting occurred. CNN is not asking, but were the cops in fear of their lives thinking he would run them over.....or someone else? [Hidden Content]
  17. Interesting opinion. My thoughts are they are playing on the feelings of liberals and young folks, while setting up a villain at the same time. I hear constantly that cops: 1. Should not be in their job if they are scared. 2. Should physically try to remove guns from people 3. Should use a taser instead of deadly force 4. Should shoot in the knee, hand, arm, leg, etc 5. Should never, ever, ever make a mistake. 6. Should always make perfect split second decisions. They want us to lower our standards and accept looting, burning and criminal behavior as normal. We had a city block taken over by terrorist and the left was perfectly OK with that........think about that and what America is becoming......not a great outlook in my opinion.
  18. We had somewhat of a 4 year pause...... and now we are making the cops the bad guys.......again.
  19. The popular vote does not matter at all, but since you brought it up........ As long as Cali and New York vote blue, Republicans will never win the popular vote, so Thank God the other States actually have a say in the election. -Democrats have a problem with Biden. If he makes it all 4 years, he has not been transparent, no off the cuff exchanges with the media, and so far has ruled by the pen.....you know, like a dictator, like the Democrats tried to frame Trump. Biden is giving Trump or whoever runs against him A LOT of ammo to use against the Democratic party.......I don't see Biden running in 2024. -Republicans also have a problem with Trump. If he runs, he will almost certainly get the nomination. If they try to force him out, he runs as an independent and while he may not win, he splits the conservative vote enough to insure the Republican nominee does not either.......handing 2024 to the Democrats...... People make the mistake of discounting Trump and end up getting blindsided. You don't have to like him, but he has control of the Republican party's future.......
  20. If we continue down this path, officers will pause or do nothing and innocent people will be killed. He made a split second decision and even in this anti-police climate, he made the right choice knowing what he knew. Some stories report the deceased is the one that called the cops, and those girls came on her property attacking her. I have no clue if that is rumor or fact.
  21. Ha Ha.....Not yet. I feel privileged my user name and password still worked....
  22. Thanks, it's been a minute. My job situation will let me participate again.
  23. If I'm not mistaken, different states define "murder" and/or "manslaughter" differently. IF it did go to Supreme court, would they use that States definition? I don't think he intended to kill Floyd, and I think Floyd played as big a part of his own death as Chauvin. In all of these cases we seem to over look personal responsibility.
  24. I must say I was nervous going into this game. Deweyville has a good defensive line. It was a good game and both teams played well. They both played with good sportsmanship!
