Question, I heard putting wood chips as a first layer under the turf will decrease the heat on the field by 50%. I heard this was not done on Lumberton's field. The same person told me they measured the temp on the field at 130 degrees. Is there any truth to this?

That statement really depends on how Silsbee does. He might enjoy himself having a run at a State title with Evadale......who knows? My Son sure enjoys it.

When I was in school, we had snack machines, a pizza bar and hamburger bar......that was at Edison. When I got to TJ, we had open campus (back when schools were not treated like a Prison), and I ate almost exclusively at Taco Bell......Cheap and I could get A LOT.......lol

People keep bringing up the constitution......Banning groups of people that are not US citizens from coming into the US is not unconstitutional. Does anyone remember the ban on HIV-positive people immigrating to the U.S. passing Congress in the late 1980s, this was a few years before Congress removed immigration law’s ban on gay people in 1990. So, it is absolutely constitutional to ban a group of people from coming in the US.....

Seems to me the President should represent the office and respect it. Bush made some mistakes, was dealt a very tough hand months into office(911), yet always respected the position. He continues to do so by being silent on current events and the current Presidents job performance. I think Obama commenting on the officer shootings (especially the ones he was dead wrong on), and recently commenting on Trump not being fit for President does not respect the position. He is, to my knowledge the first sitting President to say such a thing about a candidate running for President. So, Who cares if Bill had more sexual affairs than trump...... Bill is retired (still can give a speech tho.....had me listening to every word), and our two choices are not very good. This is a very sad time in our nation.

You know, statements like this crack me up. I am a 50 year old white guy raised in Port Arthur, in a middle classed neighborhood. I have relatives in South La and all over the Southern states. I have never been to one KKK meeting, never asked to participate in one and have no relatives involved in this group. The KKK currently has around 3000-6000 members in the U.S. depending who you believe. They are insignificant and have no influence on anyone I know. If this was directed at me, I cannot possibly read all the post in this forum. I'm sure, there are many other name calling instances in this as well as other forum topics. I do not have the time nor the will to go read every page and make sure I call out everyone that has named called.....if they continue, someone will eventually catch them. I got pulled over for speeding once and said the guy in front of me was speeding too! I guess you can figure out how that ended......
