  You are correct. Thug by Merriam Dictionary defines a thug as "A violent criminal".    His criminal record....   2005 - shoved a plain clothed undercover officer - charges dropped           -  had restraining order put on him by ex.....he put one on her as well   2013 - girlfriend said he pulled shotgun on her....later she asked for charges to be dropped   Now, If you want to call him Stupid, an idiot, or any other words in that ballpark, I agree with you 100%

  Yup......that is where he was arrested...not sure where he lived. I was mainly giving Soulja are hard time.

My son is 13 going on 25.....I had the talk a couple years ago with him after a failed attempt when he was about 9......   It is a tough conversation to have. My parents really didn't have "the talk" with me. I had to figure it out from talking to my friends.  Today, you can youtube just about anything you want to know......back in the day, we had to sneak and find where Dad kept the Playboys.....

Turned himself in?   I guess I will never understand why you would do something THAT crazy and turn yourself in....

That kind of crap should never happen......   If anyone would have been hurt over that (or shot), I think the media should be held responsible.

Attempted murder?

I agree with bullets but at the same time we cannot give up our freedom of speech.   Stupid or not, they had a right to have the drawing contest.....

    I believe you are a nurse, correct big girl?   If a patient becomes combative, what do you typically do? Do you put your safety aside and treat the patient? I know that is not how you are trained.   He was not a stranger to the officers. He had been arrested so many times they knew him by first name. (TVC and I used to know a drunk named Woodrow in port Arthur....I picked him up in an ambulance about once a week.) So, it was a common thing for him to act stupid and want to go to the hospital. They did not restrain him because they did not want to get that close to a combative prisoner.   This story is very similar to the Alfred Wright and Ferguson stories. A bunch of made up and false information comes out and people believe it and run with it. I'm not saying anyone is innocent, but we need to wait until all the information comes out before we decide guilt.......

  Yes, it's a fact......I mayor is on video telling everyone.....   They charged one with second degree murder and the rest with lesser charges.........   They will probably never prove it was intentional.....but even so, he could get up to 30 years......

  I have to.....just don't know if that was rumor or has any truth to it. The Mayor did not mention it, so it makes me think that part may not be true......

  I completely disagree and I'm sure his wife and kids would to. I'm sure they would want their Father/Husband home alive and called a coward.   If I only had a BB gun to defend myself, I would be nice and comply and hopefully live to call the police when they leave.

  Where are you getting your information on what injuries he had?   I can't find where the medical examiner has released anything. All I can find is a LEAKED commit that states, " The medical examiner found Gray’s catastrophic injury was caused when he was slammed into back of the police transport van and apparently broke his neck. Law enforcement sources also said Gray sustained a head injury that matches a bolt in the back of the police van, the affiliate reported.   Throat or larynx was not mentioned

  I don't blame the store owner at all......   I would, however, give the good advice that is someone pulls a loaded gun on you, you should comply and NOT pull a BB gun to fight back.   I would also say never bring a knife to a gun fight.....

  Who are you talking to?   No one said running is a capital offense.  If you run, however, you are putting yourself at risk as well as the police who are chasing you.

  I think the problem is going to be convicting all 6 as charged.  They are charging one with 2nd degree murder. The rest with manslaughter and lesser crimes.  If they can prove the driver drove recklessly and caused the death, then manslaughter will probably stick. I'm not sure all 6 can be charged when only one may have killed him.
