What has caused the great divide between Republicans and Democrats?   I can remember a time when the parties could have different views but work together on common interest........what happened?   I personally feel it has a lot to do with the internet. Someone can post a topic and twist it, and make the outcome whatever they want. A LOT of people believe what they read.....   Your thoughts?   This will not be an Obama bashing post. This has been going on long before Obama came to office, so that is not going to work. Lets use our brain and have an honest debate or discussion of why.....    

    He relied on the information he was given. I personally think he truly loved his country and did what he thought was right to protect it.

  Nooo, you have BISD guys still trying to point out unfairness when the two are almost polar opposites of each other.   My hometown is Port Arthur and my current city is Lumberton, you have never heard me making excuses for either city....   All I'm saying is I fairly "dog" (pun intended) any school that screws up :D

OK, you BISD guys crack me up. Everyone knows I'm from Lumberton....and when Lumberton has had ANY issue, I have NEVER cut them any slack. When we had the transvestite issue, I was the first to say we handled that all wrong. It does me no good to defend or protect a school district who uses MY tax money and screws up.   So just own it!

I have an idea.......   Instead of insulting each other or calling one stupid for not believing the way you do, why don't you post some facts, or links to people who have researched this. Englebert has attempted this with very few responses.....   And going back and forth about how someone will be judged by their answer is getting old as well.....

  They have to be. There would be no other reason not to release that information.   It always amazes me that we all sit here and have these political debates with probably 20% of the information. The government can't and should not tell the general public everything, and that goes for all administrations.

And so do people that believe in God.....

Come on.....WE can make it a "hate" crime......   He "hated"  the way they parked.   He hated their religion.....   He hated their skin color......   The bottom line is he was crazy......

That is horrible and I wish it was not part of our history. While I agree with most everything Gabe said, every race has a past. It's going to take both sides, not just once. We can look at the Civil War, 620,000 people lost their lives in 4 years......that's 440 people a day. I sure wish we could do that over, but unfortunately it's the past and we have to learn from our mistakes and move forward.

  Yes.....good link....   I think the article was mainly about letting the miliatry, not congress determine what is needed and the tanks were one example.....   I don't disagree with that, but that money should be redirected to upgrade our military....

  Link? I've honestly never heard that.   I would think if I was going to fight a war, I would never tell anyone I've got enough.....   I also think even if we don't "need" a huge miilitary, having one prevents atttempts to fight on our soil.
