  7.   "Alfred Wright was responsible for his own demise. His throat was not cut, his eyes were not punched out, that was made up," said U.S. Attorney John M. Bales Friday as the indictments were announced.     [Hidden Content]
  8. What is TJ used for now?   I know Edison is gone.....   What about Woodrow Wilson?   I need to go take a ride out there
  9. No mention of a crooked Sheriff......   According to the indictment, an investigation into the cause of Wright's disappearance and death revealed his involvement with Hadnot. Phone records, witness statements and drug evidence located during the search of Hadnot's car, indicated Hadnot was selling cocaine to Wright. During the two-day period before Wright's death, Hadnot and Wright exchanged 20 text messages, according to the indictment. It alleges that on Nov. 7, 2013, Wright sent a text to Hadnot at 12:36 p.m. requesting to buy cocaine and other drugs from Hadnot. Wright went missing about five hours later. An autopsy showed Wright's blood contained cocaine, meth and Xanax.   [Hidden Content]

  11.   Hopefully the new board will all have the same agenda.....Kids   As for parents paying for insurance and any other extracurricular activities, hopefully the board will consider going after donations. I'm sure there are rich people in the BISD that are looking for a tax break......
  12. She jumped off a bridge.....there was other issues......
  13. ok.....do we really think that unwanted pregnancies will stop if we provide free OPTIONAL birth control?  Don't they give condoms away at the clinics? How is that working?
  14.   Just like anything else she post, it is because anytime something don't go "pro-black" it must be due to racism.....
  15. Or you can continue to think that the company did not like black people and only wanted to hire whites.
  16.   Maybe they were trying to hire the MOST qualified and that is how it ended up.   The fact is, we BOTH don't know how many of each race applied.....   So, without that information we can only guess.
  17.   Did you even read the article? It had to do with welfare being harder to get now than 20 years ago. First, I'm not sure I believe that (since we have commercials for food stamps), but we are not talking even talking about that.  We are talking about people abusing the system.....you have to be ON it to ABUSE it......keep up
  18.   Who said anything about punishing?  There you go making crap up.   How is restricting what they purchase punishing?   If you think giving someone food other than steaks, lobster, King Crab and shrimp is punishing them you are part of the problem.   Don't you think that 9-11 BILLION dollars a year could be put to use to help the people that REALLY need it?
  19.   Improper welfare payments, including fraud, are estimated to be about 8.7% of all federal welfare payments made and exceeded $50 billion in fiscal year 2012.    [Hidden Content]     If the fraud rate is only 2%-3%, how much money could it really be costing us?  Well…these low rates would mean that roughly 785,000 to 1.2 Million families are illegally receiving welfare benefits.  At the average rate of $11,500 per year, this is costing the tax payers between $9.0 - $13.5 Billion dollars every year.   [Hidden Content]
  20.   That was just an unfortunate situation.  I can't imagine what in her life was that bad.....Sad
