Now lets put it back on those UGLY ARSED WHITE HELMETS!!!! ;D
 2.

I went up to the school a little while ago........turf is looking nice.
They got anyone working on the stands yet?  Get some updated pics please.
Ok I just got back from the stadium and good news ;D they have started digging up the footers for the old stands and pouring footers for the new ones. 1st pic is from the back of the visitor stands. The track is poured and the turf is being layed out,but still has to be connected and I'm assuming something like an Eagle will be placed on the 50. The far end zone in the picture reads "Barbers Hill" and the close endzone in the pic reads "Eagles". There is also various other project going on which i'm assuming is concessions and restrooms. anywho here ar the pics. [IMG][Hidden Content]] [IMG][Hidden Content]] [IMG][Hidden Content]] [IMG][Hidden Content]]
Great pics. We will need an Eagle on the fifty though. ;)
 3. Hate to see a Texas High School coach go to Philly. He should have let the wife go to Philly and stay in the South. :)
Proving that the hill is real looked back a little 1999-2006 and playoff runs in 3A districts 22-23-24 3A and 2006 21-4A(10-1) BH was 80- 14 w/5 undefeated regular seasons.Of the 14 losses(9) of them occurred  in 02-03-04 (3) in ea.season.I believe for real they've earned some new turf and upgrades 8) ;)
Yes they have. ;D
 6.
Since I cannot find a dang copy of this mag West of the Trinity could one of you fine Easterners post our rankings  ;D
Believe it or not HEB in Baytown has it. 8)
 7. After all these years we will just be glad to get the upgrade. Bout time!!!!
 8.
Apparently they did not tap into the "BH smarts pool" when they chose the new football uniform. I still can't believe those kids actually wear those things voluntarily.
Not even we at THE HILL can defend those uni's. They are UGLY!!!! hopefully this will be the last year for them and the football fashion police will select the next ones. ;)
 9.

A better way to do this may be doing by decades. Talk to Jabo or Coach Horn and I'm sure they can fill you from players of the late 60's if not earlier, 70's to present. But some of the good ones I remember watching growing up are Troy Hanson (late 80's) and Jeff Jones (early 90's). I played with Phillip Davis - good football player but one of the better athletes ever to come thru BH - played it all - football, basketball and ran track (even played a year of baseball - I'm sure Coach Staulbaum and Johnson remembers that). Holds the school record with running a 47 qtr at the state meet. Believe he medaled in three events that year. But with that being said there was some good talent in the early years of BH. There's a guy in the Hall of Honor who's in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, can't think of his name on the top of my head. I'm glad you threw that name in there. Chris was the offense his senior year. A darn good LB on the other side of the ball too!!!!! Also when coaching there in the 2000's we had some good ones that played there: Blake, Carrington, Shows, Patton's and Little. I know I left some off sorry about that....
I forgot about one more from the late 90's, actually ran into him today at the gym - Chris Methner - want to talk about a workhorse, this guy defines it. Tough as nails - type of player you wish you had every year.
10.
Shows was better than Davis.. Davis could kick the ball through the uprights though!! Davis was a great athlete, just not the best RB.
Shows was a workhorse.
 11. Jeff Jones and Thurmond Blake. Perry put the ball on the ground too much and could not take a hit.
 12.
P.S.  If we WUSIFY our freaking Mascot again next year I am going to pluck that  costume.  Geez louis, what the heck is a freaking mascot doing in a "censored" at a playoff game AND what the heck is up with that BOWE on an Eagles head??????  ??? ???  >:( That's almost as bad as that former goober band director coming in and changing the freaking school song!!!!!!  >:(   "Come on Man!"
The mascot needs a serious upgrade but the uniforms are still the ugliest in the state of TEXAS.
 13.

Weather this friday calls for some precipitation. [IMG][Hidden Content]]
Hey Hey Hey...our helmets dont look like that anymore...we've gone with the always classy and very popular, white on white...guess the jokes on you.  :) Still, no way PNG wins this game!
Hey 34, you forgot to remind them about our classy uniforms. Get ready PNG the Hill looks different. 8) 8)
 14.

Bh has a policy that if a player is ejected, they have to miss the next game. Thats not good cause Mcswain is out with an injury...gona be hurting at the LB position. Crosby has no class...they should be ashamed.
And you didn't know this going into the game??
Maybe I shoulda, but I guess I din't.
Well, since he was defending himself the"rule" should not apply. It is nice to be a good sport but you can not let yourself get punked by a bunch of thugs.
 15.
I think BH wins a close one, and much respect from all. Let's not forget that with the exception of Dayton (Big Exception), we have whipped all district competition pretty soundly. We have more than exceeded expectations. Give The Hill it's due.
It is almost impossible to predict this one. Niether team knows which team will show up. This one could be close or go 20 points either way.
 16.
I heard Barbers Hill was going to try to buy him so they could have a back up for when the parents get mad at Gage.
Rumor is he stepped down so that he could move to Mont Belvieu, Texas. He heard that the Hill was for Real and he wanted to check it out. He also heard that BH wants to hire coaches who have won state championships in the past no matter how many D-1 kids were on the team. He also would bring something entirely new to The Hill called the spread offense. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
 17.
The Hill is For REAL!
State Championship here we come!!!!!! Hehehehehe
 18. Love my EAGLES but that crap is funny. Wish I would have thought of doing something like that. I hear Blizzards are 59 cents at the Baytown DQ at Texas and Alexander.
 19.
What does the school board have to do with the way a football team plays. It it people like you who give this town the "gossip" town, instead of focusing on the football games, you focus on something else. Here is a bright idea for you, how about you take yourself, and run for school board, then maybe people can vote for you, oh wait ur hiding behind a computer screen name, and won't say your name. All bark, but no bite.
Hey dummy, you got the man they wanted. You are right the ball game should not have anything to do with the school board. So when did you move in this year????? July???? Let's go to lunch sometime because you do not know me very well if you think I will not talk football or BH politics with anyone. It is really easy.
 20.
The Hill is For Real Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the ASS WHIPPING DAYTON!!!!! We have now hit rock bottom and can fire the board and the clown and start to put back what I thought we started to fix 11 years ago.
 21.
Hopefully after the game tonight most of the nonsense from the two BH\Dayton threads will diminish greatly. Goodluck to both teams tonight. Hoping for a well played game.
It is over!!!! We suck you don't. If BH re-elects the same idiots then the pounding will continue.
 22.
Quote from BH Fan "I can see the 30 year old living in his moms trailer now thinking about your rule " You forgot one thing... The former Bronco football star is living in a trailer, but he and his wife (the Barbers Hill homecoming queen) are going through his high school scrap book on all the Bronoco playoff victories.  Why is he married to the Barbers Hill homecoming queen? Like girls everywhere, they love dating guys who guide their football to playoff victories, that my friend is something that doesn't exist at Barbers Hill, unless you hold an AARP card. The Bronco victories over the Eagles start Thursday night.
Wow, that was harsh. just remember that our ugly road uniforms will blind your guys for at least a half.
 23.
It's been rumored for years that North Shores biggest feeder school was the METRO bus.
Naw they buy them cars. They just are not stupid enough to buy them new cars so as to not get caught.
 24.
I'll go out on a limb and say we lose by at least 28 and we have fewer than 5 first downs against Dayton.  I hate it, but reality is we won't score enough (if at all) with the triple option and our defense is not going to shut anyone down.  Hope I am wrong, but it would be the very first time I was....  ;D ;D
Yea but since we bought our boys the UGLIEST UNIFORMS in the state of Texas we have the other teams defense off guard. It takes them at least two quarters to stop laughing so maybe we can continue to put up enough points early. Love my boys in BLUE.....Errrrrr... I mean in stripes. ::)
 25.
Must be wos in barber hill jersey's, they are off right?
Naw, I don't think you could get a WOS player to wear them UGLY Jersey's. No matter how much BH was paying. They are UGLY!!!!!
