I just talked to the Kirbyville superintendent's Secretary and she was very nice, she took my comments about the situation and took my name and number. she is keeping count on how many have called so please call, be courteous she is very a very nice lady.

Many of you may not know and a lot of you do know, that recently A radio station undercut us as a broadcasting web sight and negotiated a deal with Kirbyville Schoolboard members in order us to lose our webcasting privileges for Kirbyville post season games. The Radio station KJAS went and started collecting sponsors (our sponsors) without our permission. Now this may not mean a lot to most but , we have had the privilege to listen to most or our areas football games because SETXsports broadcasts them. Sometime the broadcasts are great, sometimes they are funny, sometimes we get confused and make mistakes. But we go out every Friday and Saturday to bring games into not only local homes but to overseas areas were our soldiers are at and working. Now we are in a situation were a radio station KJAS of Jasper has kept us from doing anything. Now its Kirbyville, next it could be Newton or anyother game we listen to. I implore you even if your not from kirbyville or a SETXsports announcer to write to this station and tell them how you feel. They will be only Radio broadcasting the game and will not be we webcasting. so if you live past lumberton or if you live 40 miles north of Jasper you can forget about getting the game Thank you in advance, it may not doing anything now, but they may think later before stepping on our SETXsports family Please send you loving comments to [email protected] Thank You Howard

well this is what I sent to KJAS with no responce yet. Well since your station will not be streaming the Kirbyville game, and by undercutting the sponsors for SETXsports , no one outside your listing area, including the soldiers overseas will be able to listen to the broadcast. I think this a shame. Is money that important that we neglect the people who will be and have been listening to the regular season games. But then again listeners don't really make a difference anymore now do they?

I wonder if they will reply to us. OH I sent Luigie and Gus from the Jasper Buisness Association. to talk a little also ;D 8)

KJAS started contacting our sponsers without our (SETXsports) permission and undercut us on our sponsers, so we lost all our sponsers in turn. It costs money for web band feeds and other things. It was a dirty deal by them. Jordan won't say anything public cause he is just that type of person but I will. It's dirty buisness

ok well now I am peeved. buisness is buisness is one thing, but undercutting another broadcasting station. Well thats downright dispicible. well anyway I just wrote the radio station in question and told them how unprofesionable it was for them to do what they did. Now this email address may or may not be the mail from the owner of the station. [email protected] it is public domain because is posted on their web site. sit down and write a friendly letter letting them know just how happy you are with them.

I would say flooding a radio stations email with how you feel about this situation might not be the nicest thing in the world to do, buuuuuut then again what they did wasn't nice either. I wonder if they would answer a few hundred E-mail

Would you be saying the same thing if the fire had spread, there was no fire department there. The bon fire is next to the school. or did they have the fire department on call just in case it spread? Being smart I think thats what they did.

I noticed that. Also I noticed that they scored fewer points on Gilmer than Jasper did. But they also gave up fewer points. Perhaps that should be a wash. In any event, if Jasper makes the playoffs I am confident they will take the game to Chapel Hill. The telling point will be what CH has to go with that RB. As long as there is not much of a passing games Jasper has a chance

Barbay will have every trick in the book out there. It will be tight first half, but Newton will win it with half time adjustments. The Newton staff is awesome at adjustments. I hope to be there.
