the sponsers pay the broadcasters who in turn by the equipment in order to bring you the games. These are guy that are just doing it for the fun of the game. they get paid enough to buy a hamburger after the game. Its a whole lot better than not being able to listen to the game. Enjoy. thank them once in a while ;D Next year volenteer to broadcast a game we can always use more people.

I am a Jasper fan and maybe Jasper needs to be embarrassed about getting beat like they are. Get the leaders of this team fired up. someone needs to take charge and become a leader for this team. Coaches are not leaders they are coaches. JMHO

I have deleted several post, and modified other posts. This is a youth football forum so I am assuming most of us are adults and parents of the youth that are playing football. I would be a shame to lock the forum down due to the name calling , personall attacks and the cussing (using symbols is considered cussing on this web site) being used in these threads. Keep it civil, or not at all. It would be great for everyone that has not done so to read the forum rules before posting, that way no one gets banned. consider this a group warning.

this is very true, I don't think all of the story is out yet.

I am interested in the allegations of drinking going on at the party. were the parents there? where did the alcohol come from? I believe if the allegations are founded there will be a whole lot of people in trouble besides these 3 or more young men.

Coach should listen, not necessarily use what is said, buy who knows. However if a kid or team decides to ignore the coach and go out on their own to do something ie: change calls, ignore calls ect. BENCH THEM. IMO

no matter what the score was we looked pitiful. we had so many flags against us it was like a parade, and the bad thing was most of them were correct calls. Blocking in the back away from the play, holding away from the play, missed blocking assignments, snapping the ball to no one. Jasper playes carthage next week and better get it together otherwise they will wipe the new field with us.

yep and the Highlanders are 2-0 in that district and 6-0 for the year. I believe they play conroe next week.

Alvarez is classless in his running up the score, but he wins. Alvarez is the most classy coach in this area. yes it was the JV putting up points!! and let me tell you something, Shelbyville deserved everthing they got plus more. not only did they run to the middle of the field and huddle around the wildcat pitcher, but they cancelled their 7Th, 8Th, Fres., and JV district games, told kirbyville that they did not have any teams, and went and played another team leaving kirbyville without games.... They deserved 100 put on them!!!!!

Alvarez is classless in his running up the score, but he wins. are you kidding me? running up the score? thats why we ran the ball the whole fourth quarter. and we even had our jv o-line with all back up backs and ur saying we ran up the score. if u werent at the game u just need to keep ur mouth closed. plus they deserved to have that many points scored on them after running to the center of our field before the game on our homecoming...thats classless. Hmmm I remember someone doing the same thing at jasper couple of years ago. to include sliding on the midfield logo. so you say thats classless?

Well I will have to agree with the officiating, I was trying my hardest to get tossed from the stadium. Imagine me being unsportsmanlike to the referee. But the critical thing for us (Jasper) is we couldn't stop a pass to save our lives. when we did get in to the QB we couldn't contain him on the sides, and I am not really sure if our cornerbacks and safeties really knew who was in their coverage. but great game for the lumberjacks, and Jasper need to come alive next week and the rest of the season
